The vehicle was found to be unoccupied. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Johnson's Tow per the request of the Harrisonville Police Department and transported to their secure facility. The vehicle was later released to the Harrisonville Police Department for their investigation. 02/27/17 13:52 24820 MILLER RD, PECULIAR On Monday, February 27, 2017 at approximately 1430 hours, I conducted an investigation at the residence of 24820 South Miller Road in rural Harrisonville, Missouri in regards to a report of stealing. The victim, James D. Drake, white male stated that several items were stolen from the barn west of the residence on the property. My investigation revealed that the disturbance was domestic in nature and non-criminal. COMMERCIAL, HARRISONVILLE On Saturday, March 4th 2017, at 1957 hours, I conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Commercial on a gray 2001 Honda Civic for failing to signal a turn. Subsequent investigation revealed the white male driver was a suspect in a hit and run motor vehicle crash which happened in Harrisonville earlier that day. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana. Upon arrival I made contact with a female subject, identified as Melissa Scherette, who stated she had been assaulted by a male subject. A suspect has been identified and placed in custody in this incident. 03/05/17 09:59 211 ELM ST, DREXEL On March 5, 2017 I responded to the Drexel Dollar General Store at 211 E. Elm Street for suspicious activity. Two subjects attempted to use a credit device but did not provide identification, and were denied service. The subjects are unknown at this time. 03/05/17 11:43 7/WALKER RD, HARRISONVILLE Incident Log 03/05/17 12:28 20506 STATE ROUTE Y, BELTON On 03-05-17 at approximately 1240 hours I responded to 20506 S State Route Y outside of Belton, MO in reference to a burglary in progress. While in route Dispatch stated the suspect had left the scene. The suspect was located and later taken into custody. 03/05/17 19:19 26909 307TH ST, GARDEN CITY On Sunday March 5, 2017 at approximately 1922 hours, I was dispatched to area of 26909 E 307th street. In reference to an motor vehicle accident. The vehicle was east bound on 307th when it lost control and overturned. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. Vehicle was overturned by tow company and driven from the scene. 03/05/17 19:53 2501 MECHANIC ST, HARRISONVILLE 03/05/17 21:01 37505 MAIN ST, GUNN CITY On Sunday March 5, 2017 at approximately 2100 hours, I was dispatched to 37505 E Main St, Gunn City convince store. In reference to a possible structure fire. The fire was found to be made on the carport in an old tire. The smoke in the apartment was caused by the tire catching on fire. There was no damage to the building. Garden City fire responded to investigate.
