Boston Whalers, power boats, kayaks, canoes and mountain bikes are available for rent. There is 1000 ft. of moorage space at the dock with electricity, water, and laundry available. Waterfront Chalets Two story chalets consist of a living room, dining room, full kitchen and bathroom with tub and shower on the main floor. Balconies open from both floors and overlook the water. The sleeping loft upstairs contains 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, and 1 single bed; including the double sofa bed downstairs (sleep up to seven people). The kitchens are well equipped with dishes, pots, pans and utensils, toaster and automatic coffee pot. All units have cable TV with DVD players as well as electric fireplaces. All chalets are housekeeping units. All towels and linens are provided. Wireless internet. Studios One room studio suites have full kitchens and bathrooms with shower. These units are designed for 4 people with 1 queen bed and pull out sofa. The kitchens are well equipped same as the chalets. Follow highway 19 to Campbell River (approx. 150km) Once in Campbell River, stay on the highway and look for signs for the Quadra Ferry. The Terminal will be on your left just before you enter the heart of down town. Directions from Quathiaski Cover ferry terminal Follow Heriot Bay signs. Go straight off ferry. Road bends left at shopping plaza, follow road to stop sign (Café Aroma) Turn right follow road past gas station, take next left on West Rd. (RCMP station) Follow West Rd. 3 4 minutes, turn left on Gowlland Harbour Rd (past Homewood) Once on Gowlland Harbour Rd. take first left and follow to Seascape Resort. AREA DATA Quadra Island Quadra Island is 34km long with an average width of 9km, most of its 3,800 full-time residents live on the southern half of the island. The two main population centers are Quathiaski Cove and Heriot Bay, and both locations have shops, post offices, and restaurants. Quathiaski Cove also has a gas station and credit union. A tourist information booth, open from mid June until Labour Day weekend, is located next to Quadra Credit Union. At the Saturday Farmers Market, held in Quathiaski Cove, vendor s tables are loaded with fresh farm produce, delicious baking, and unique crafts.
