Be a citizen of a country with diplomatic relations with the People s Republic of China and be a citizen of a member state of ICAO. Note: The foreign pilot s nationality shall be the same which is shown on his valid ATPL license, and the passport shall be the same one which had been used for all the recruitment steps in China Southern; The passport shall valid for at least 3 years or above

Hold a current and valid Airline Transportation Pilot License issued by the civil aviation authority concerned of the ICAO member state in accordance with the requirements specified in the relevant Appendix of the ICAO "International Civil Aviation Treaty". Note: The Airline Transportation Pilot License shall not contain any endorsement not in line with standards of ICAO. 3. Hold a current and valid Class I Medical Certificate issued by the civil aviation authority concerned of the ICAO member state in accordance with the requirements specified in the relevant Appendix of the ICAO "International Civil Aviation Treaty". 4. Shall meet the following requirements of flight time and flight experience: 1) Shall have flown a minimum of 6,000 hours in the front seat in the turboprop and turbojet (simulator time not included). 2) Shall have flown a minimum of 2,500 PIC experience hours in the multi-engine, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with MTOW (maximum take-off weight) 50 tons above. Note: The Airline Transportation Pilot License shall not contain any endorsement not in line with standards of ICAO. 3) PIC experience hours shall meet the following requirements: a) Have flown a minimum of 500 PIC hours with the applying CSA Captain Positions Recruitment Requirements & The Contract Summary between CSA and Agency Ver.2016_01 aircraft type endorsement.
b) Have flown a minimum of 500 PIC hours in the current type (136 tons MTOW and above) without the applying aircraft type endorsement. c) Have flown a minimum of 1,500 PIC hours in the current type (136 tons MTOW below) without the applying aircraft type endorsement.
