I. VENUE The competition venue is located in CASTELLDEFELS. II. VISA INVITATION LETTER If you require a VISA to enter Spain, please send a request for an Invitation letter to the Spanish Canoe Federation: Juan Carlos VINUESA (Secretary General jcvinuesa@rfep.es). Please contact the nearest Spanish Embassy for information on what documentation you may require to enter in Spain and send the application forms to the Spanish Canoe Federation. Be aware that the Visa issuing process may take several weeks so please start as early as possible applying for it. III. TRAVEL (AIRPORT LOCATIONS) The main arrival airport for the competition will be Barcelona International Airport (BCN), a large international hub with flights to most parts of the world. IV. AIRPORT SHUTTLE The Host Organizing Committee is pleased to offer Airport Transportation from Barcelona International Airport to the venue or to official accommodation site. The airport shuttle is included in the participation fee. V. PARTICIPATION FEES AND SERVICES All participants of the competition (Athletes, Coaches, Team staff and Team Leaders) must pay a daily participation fee to access the venue. Participation fees must be paid in full to validate issuance of event accreditation passes. A. Cost 22.5 Euros per day per participant B. Duration Participation fee entitles each participant to the services listed below for the full access period: April 6 to 11 for official training days (6) April 12 to 15 for competition days (4) C. Services The following services are included: Daily lunch Airport shuttles Daily transportation from official accommodation to the venue Basic services: accreditation, D. Payment Process Details regarding the participation fee payment process will be provided by the Host Organising Committee. VI. ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION The HOC with the support of a travel agency is pleased to provide all-inclusive accommodation options to participants, each including bed and breakfast.
