Annual Summer Conference AN INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE On behalf of the Seminole Tribe of Florida s Native Learning Center (NLC), we are pleased to invite you to exhibit at our 4th Annual Summer Conference, which will take place June 5-7, 2012 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The Native Learning Center is a program of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and was established in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in 2008. It is the NLC s goal to provide Native Americans with knowledge and skills that improve quality of life through housing related programs by becoming the recognized educational resource for the development of cultural and quality of life skills. The NLC s 4th Annual Summer Conference is just one of our events in where we present a curriculum of unique courses that combine our 5 focus areas: Celebrating Culture & Language, Financial Wellness, Grants Education, Housing Strategies, and Tribal Government. NLC events are open to all Native Americans and anyone working within Indian Country. Our attendees have ranged from Tribal officials to non-tribal member employees working within Indian-owned organizations. Basically, anyone who can impact Native American communities is welcome to attend our free trainings. As an exhibitor, you have the opportunity to connect with Tribes across Indian Country. Over the past year, the Native Learning Center has seen steady growth in the number of our on-site event attendees, and we are expecting to attract a large number of participants who can impact Native American communities across the country.
