28 APR 2018-30 APR 2018 Chyulu Hills Nairobi Chyulu Hills Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (50 minutes) Chyulu Hills, Kenya Hemingway described the Chyulus as the "green hills of Africa." It is also a Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust that protects this legendary place within the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem. It spans over one million acres, and is an important wildlife corridor. Its hills are covered in cloud forest, its plains stretch out to meet Kilimanjaro, and its volcanoes dot the landscape, making it one of the most scenic places in all of Africa. It is also a place where you have great flexibility to enjoy activities away from the crowds, including walking safaris and engaging with a genuine Masaai culture where the tribesman are in-tune with conservation and their environment. Ol Donyo Lodge Ol Donyo Lodge is in the heart of the 275,000-acre Mbirikani Group Ranch, located on the slopes of the Chyulu Hills National Park between the Amboseli and Tsavo West National Parks in southeast Kenya. Its location is unrivalled with full views of Mount Kilimanjaro and in the path of seasonal elephant migrations. It is a lodge rich in history, passion and conservation. Ol Donyo Lodge consists of seven expansive guest suites. No two spaces are of the same design but all have a dramatic view of the archetypal African savannah and its flat-top acacia trees with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. All suites have a lounge, verandah, indoor and outdoor showers, double washbasins, flush toilet and bath, and star bed. The rooftop star bed is accessed from the verandah via a winding stone staircase. This is a fabulous sleep-out option, with utter privacy and all the amenities of the suite just below. Kenya/Laikipia Chyulu Hills Nairobi Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (50 minutes) Nairobi Mt. Kenya/Laikipia Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (30 minutes) Mt. Kenya/Laikipia, Kenya This is an up and coming wildlife area of Kenya. The Laikipia National Park was created on November 8, 2011 and is a very new national park. It is an open savanna ecosystem that supports a wide diversity of species, from the endangered Grevy s zebra and elephant to the patas monkey, Somali ostrich, and Beisa oryx. It is also central to many surrounding private ranches such as the Ol Pejeta Ranch and the Segera Ranch, where you can enjoy safaris unaffected by national park restrictions. Borana Lodge In the Laikipia region the diversity of large mammals is higher than in any other part of Kenya. Laikipia hosts the highest populations of endangered species: black rhino (half of Kenya s total population), Grevy s zebra (70% of the world s population), reticulated giraffe, the only viable population of Lelwel hartebeest in the country and Africa s only expanding population of wild dog. Borana Lodge is set on a hillside overlooking panoramic views over the Samangua Valley and the Lewa Plains to the Ngare Ndare Forest and Mount Kenya beyond, along with a lake which attracts herds of elephants, buffalo and often prides of lion. Borana Lodge offers eight romantic and unique cottages, each with an open fireplace and private veranda. Each cottage is entirely secluded with private views from bedroom and bathroom. The rooms all have their own fireplace, which are lit every evening. The lodge is designed to work in harmony with the landscape and is created from local, sustainable building materials. All food is freshly prepared in the kitchen. Borana sources as many ingredients as possible from their farm produce and kitchen garden. Communal dining is encouraged, however

private dinners can be arranged on request. The Lodge has a fleet of radio-linked, custom-built, four-wheeldrive, open-sided vehicles that are driven by knowledgeable driver/guides. Since Borana is private property, there are no game park rules and no one else will ever obscure your view of the big game that lives here. Night game drives - when most animals are active - are very popular, allowing guests an insight into the nocturnal life of the bush that is denied them in most of the parks. Other activities on offer include guided wildlife, birdlife and scenic walks, horse riding, mountain biking, sundowners, picnics, bush dinners, ranch days and use of the swimming pool. Optional activities at an extra charge include visits to local villages, certain riding & fishing excursions, scenic helicopter flights, and massage treatments by advance request. Included Accommodation, meals, soft drinks, house wines, beers and spirits, horse riding, shared scheduled game drives on Borana Ranch day & night, guided walks, sundowner excursion, mountain biking, shared Lewa airstrip transfers, laundry, Borana Ranch conservancy fees Amenities Cell Phone Coverage, Ensuite Bathrooms, Hairdryer, Laundry Included, Local Drinks Included, Pool, Recharge Facilities, Wi-Fi Available at an Additional Cost Champagne, luxury spirits & select wines, cultural visits, visits to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, visits to Kisima Floriculture Project, fly-camping, overnight horse riding safaris, fishing excursions, helicopter excursions, spa treatments 4 MAY 2018-6 MAY 2018 Masai Mara Mt. Kenya/Laikipia Nairobi Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (30 minutes) Nairobi Masai Mara Scheduled Light Aircraft Transfer (1 hour) Masai Mara, Kenya There is a very good reason the Masai Mara is such a popular safari destination. It is hands down the best place to see wildlife in Kenya. It is also stunning. The Mara River winds through vast, open short-grass plains and the Oloololo Escarpment provides a breathtaking backdrop. Flat-topped acacias occasionally dot the landscape, and ballooning over this area will give you silent, low-level views of hippos, buffalo, giraffes, elephants and, of course, herds of wildebeest and zebra that you will never forget. The reserve is actually a continuation of the plains of the Serengeti as they cross the border from Tanzania into Kenya.

Mara Plains Mara Plains Camp is located on the northern border of the Masai Mara Game Reserve in the 30,000-acre Olare Orok Conservancy. Rarely a night passes without lions roaring nearby, while leopards are regularly found to wander through the camp and cheetahs have established territories on the savannah nearby the main area. Mara Plains Camp is a small, high quality, seven-roomed camp under canvas and on raised decks with sweeping views across Kenya s notable savannahs. The camp is secluded, and it isn t until just before you cross the memorable and grand swing bridge steps that it reveals itself. Once across the river, and under the cool shade of the trees, there is a lovely open grass area leading to the main area. Mara Plains Camp is centered around three open-air marquis tents connected together in a pod concept. There are two lounges, one with a small library and writing area. A main dining room with a grand wood table and magnificent chandelier host breakfast and some dinners. Also raised on decking, and blessed with sweeping views, the central area brings together the whole camp. As the evening ends, move to the open-air campfire and listen as the resident lion prides begin their night s exploits. The camp caters for only 14 guests in seven uniquely designed octagonal canvas rooms. Each is raised on decks, and opens on three sides to the outside. Floor-to-ceiling net walls and the marquis ceiling make for very open-air and inviting environs. The rooms have a dressing area as well as private verandas with seating and exquisite views. The en-suite facilities consist of a double-basin vanity, flush toilet and shower. Complementary refreshments and snacks are served on all our drives and include tea and coffee on the morning drive and the traditional "sundowner" cocktail in the late afternoon. Special meals and dietary requirements can be catered for on request. Mara Plains offers early morning and late afternoon and night game drives, hot air balloon safaris (at extra cost), authentic local village visits and unrivalled access to superior wildlife habitats. Included Accommodation, meals, soft drinks, beer, house wine, house spirits, laundry, shared scheduled activities including a game drive in the Mara reserve, off-road game viewing, walking safaris, Olare Motorogi & Mara North Conservancies, each tent includes a pair of Swarovski HD binoculars & Canon 7D digital camera with Canon 24-70mm & 100-400mm lenses for use during stay, local airstrip shared transfers (Ol Kiombo), all Conservancy fees including one entry to Mara Reserve per stay Amenities Cell Phone Coverage, Ensuite Bathrooms, Hairdryer, Laundry Included, Local Drinks Included, Recharge Facilities Available at an Additional Cost Champagne, premium spirits, cellar wines, exclusive use of vehicle (subject to availability), curio items, Hot Air Balloon over the Masai Mara, Masai Cultural Visit, scenic helicopter tours 7 MAY 2018 Nairobi
