Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs Dear RMAF Service Members: The Power of YOU Be the Difference is the theme for this year s convention on November 9-12 at the Doubletree Spokane City Center, 322 North Spokane Falls Court, Spokane, Washington. HOTEL RESERVATIONS: All service member room reservations MUST be made through the RMAF Office. Rooms are limited and are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once all the available rooms have been assigned, a waiting list will be started for replacements in the event of a cancellation. Your competed registration/hotel reservation form & fees must be on file in the RMAF Office for your company to be on the waiting list. A credit card or check for the 1 st night deposit is required to be assigned a room. If you send a check for your room deposit, please make it payable to Doubletree Spokane City Center for $122.66. Reservation cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance or you will be charged one nights lodging. We ask that booking agencies use the convention overflow hotel, The Red Lion, for your acts to insure more of the fairs (buyers) are in the host hotel. The Red Lion convention rates are $106 + tax & you can call (509) 777-6300 CONVENTION REGISTRATION: Convention Registration is $225 per person which included 8 meals. Day registrations are available (see form for prices). After October 14, 2016 the registration will increase to $250 and on-site registration at the convention is $275. 2016 RMAF MEMBERSHIP DUES MUST BE CURRENT TO ATTEND THE CONVENTION. TRAVEL: Doubletree Spokane City Center is 20 minutes north of Spokane International Airport which serves United, American/US Airway, Alaska, Delta & Southwest. A wide variety of rental car options are also available at the airport. Go to www.spokaneairports.net for more details. The Doubletree offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. You will find a phone kiosk in the baggage claim areas of the hotel for you to call for the shuttle. Amtrak Rail Service is available to Spokane from select cities so be sure to check the website for availability & schedule at www.amtrack.com. The Amtrak Station is four blocks from the hotel but do the late arrival time of the trains, the hotel shuttle is not available but taxis are available upon your arrive. If you are driving to Spokane, Doubletree Spokane City Center is accessible from Exit #281 of I-90. The hotel is offering complimentary parking for the RMAF convention. The hotel does allow small pets for an additional fee. PROMOTIONAL POSTERS: The Doubletree will not allow any promotional posters or flyers to be attached to any walls or doors. SHIPPING CONVENTION MATERIALS: The hotel has limited storage space for your items that you have directly shipped before your arrival. You shipped items WILL NOT be accepted prior to November 6.
