Highlights include the Trient glacier, Ravines Rousses, the Petit Combin North face (3800m), and Pigne d Arolla (3800 m). Flights for Trient, le Petit Combin et la Rosablanche may start from Verbier (Châble or Créve Cœur) or from Finhaut. Flights for Mont Rose will start from Zermatt.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION Weather: Temperatures in Chamonix range from -20 to +30 C, and we strongly advise our clients to make provisions for a strong wind-chill even on sunny days. Our guides will always advise you on what to wear and pack to ensure you get the best experience. Food: Whilst meals are not included in the service, we are happy to suggest eating options on demand. Based on their preference, groups may chose a picnic on the go, or to stop for a meal at a mountain hut. GETTING READY Physical condition Our heli-ski and boarding experiences requires a good general level of fitness, and good off-pistes skiing skills for maximum enjoyment. Our days always start with a gentle and thorough warm-up to limit the risk of injury. We will endeavour to discuss any such changes with you in advance, but this cannot be garanteed. Weather conditions Our services will run regardless of weather conditions. Our guides will try to adapt the programme accordingly.
Insurances Your guides insurance will cover you for mountain search and rescue, but you also need to have an individual insurance for the activities included in our service. We can offer such individual insurance (moutaineering and ski) through the French Union of Mountain Guides for 2 / day / person or 39 / year / person. Booking and payment We strongly advise you to book our services in advance to avoid disappointment. All bookings are made through the central office at Kailash Adventure. A 10% deposit is payable upon booking. The total amount is due at the latest10 days before the start of your Kailash Adventure. Cancellation policy Booking changes and reimbursements do not apply in the following cases : Reimbursement of the 10% deposit less than 21 days before your Kailash adventure Reimbursement of the total amount less than 10 days before your Kailash adventure Interruption or cancellation due to participants lack of technical or physical abilities Participants unable to come at the agreed date and time, even for medical reasons. We would be happy to provide a payment certificate for your insurance, should your activity be cancelled for medical reasons.
