LANDBRIDGE SERVICE BETWEEN MALAYSIA - THAILAND (CARGO SERVICES) introduced in year 1999 represents an international collaboration between KTMB and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) Maptaput Bangsue Trang Suratthani Hatyai started with 2 weekly trains from Port Klang to Bangsue gradually expanded to major dry and sea ports in Malaysia and terminates at various stations and freight terminal in Thai territory. Penang Port Port Klang Shorter travelling time by rail from Port Klang Bangsue takes 60 hours while sea transport takes 5-7 days. 12 12
