At this point the station facilities, services, shops and other details have been determined so we are providing details on these items in this news release. The station is designed with ease of use foremost in mind with platforms are able to accommodate luggage carts and other features suitable to a station at an international airport. As such the platform width is designed as a spacious 14m with multiple large elevators installed and platform doors installed to prevent luggage carts from falling onto the tracks. In addition, a concierge capable of 4 languages will always be available at the guidance desk located near the arrivals lobby ticket gate who will in addition to providing ticket sales to foreign travelers not used to Japanese trains also provide travel information and a variety of other services. Among the stores within the station premises "Tamahide", long established chicken cuisine restaurant founded in Ningyocho in 1760 and famous as the origin of "oyako-don", will have their first branch shop. The available shops provide facilities and services suitable as to the entryway to Japan. See the attachments for more details. Station Facility Overview/Features As an airport access station, the station is designed with ease of use foremost in mind, and provides facilities and services suitable for the entranceway to Japan which allow both overseas departures and arrivals visitors access with no stress. 2. Measures for Overseas Visitors 1 Guidance counter A guidance counter is installed near the arrivals lobby ticket gate. This counter is always staffed by a concierge who can speak 4 languages and sells tickets to overseas visitors who are not accustomed to Japanese trains. This counter not only provides tickets and train change information for the visitor's destination, but also provides services such as providing tourist information as well as information and reservations for restaurants, providing courteous and polite guidance to visitors. Service details will be reported as they are determined. 2 Station numbering As increasing numbers of overseas visitors are expected, station numbering will be implemented at all Keikyu stations starting on October 21 when the airport station opens in order to allow the Keikyu line to be easy to use for everyone. II. Overview of Station Premises Shops 1. Concept We have gathered together a collection of shops and provide spaces within the station that can make visitors more "comfortable" and "satisfied" and also lead to new "encounters" and "discoveries". 2. Targets Travelers coming to Japan from overseas and travelers heading overseas from Japan and other airport visitors. The station and all employees endeavor to provide all Japanese and overseas visitors with Japanese "Wa" (harmony) and comfort and tie together "Japan and the station and overseas" by creating a station which serves as a "destination" that people will want to visit. 3. Shops Shop name: 7-Eleven Type: Convenience store Target: Airport users Location: Departures lobby floor (3F) Set up as a Keikyu and 7-Eleven station collaboration shop at Haneda Airport International Terminal Station. Handles a wide variety of products and services from onigiri rice balls and sandwiches to an ATM corner. Used as an "oasis" for both those traveling to countries throughout the world and airport staff. The shop also handles Keikyu original products, souvenirs and travel goods, providing help for all of your journeys with thorough "convenience and enjoyment". Shop name: Ueshima Coffee Shop Type: Cafe Target: Airport users Location: Departures lobby floor (3F) Those small moments of personal time wedged into our busy daily lives. Ueshima Coffee Shop seeks to have those who understand value experience "the wonderful moments coffee creates" while resting their bodies in a relaxing atmosphere. The coffee, extracted using the "Nel Drip" method, said to be the perfect coffee extraction method, and sandwiches, made carefully sparing no effort with the best quality ingredients are recommended.
Shop name: Tamahide Oyako-don Tei/Wagokoro "Anzu" (Provisional name) Type: Restaurant Target: Employees and airport users Location: Departures lobby floor (3F) A chicken cuisine restaurant founded in 1760 with 250 years of tradition. The rich and extravagant, original oyako-don is made using "Tokyo Shamo" chicken, developed together along with Tokyo itself and is loved by many as a Tokyo favorite. Wagokoro Anzu is famous in Hakata for the popular tonkatsu pork cutlets using "Joshu Pork TOKOTON". Shop name: Seiyokan Type: Relaxation Target: Employees and airport users Location: Departures lobby floor (3F) Provides relaxation based on a concept of "ease of use" and "warm, open relaxing spaces". We believe that directly linking the shop to both the airport and the station provides customers with a way to spend their valuable time. Our warm and open spaces are waiting for visitors to come and refresh both their mind and body. Why not try going on your trip or work after first soothing away your daily weariness. Shop name: Shiki no Mori (Four Seasons Forest) Dental Clinic Type: Dental clinic Target: Employees Location: Arrivals lobby floor (2F) The tropical fish at the entrance welcome you while soothing your work-weary mind and body. The private rooms and clinic interior are designed to allow for tired patients to receive treatment in comfort and privacy. Why not use your time before departure for teeth whitening and fly on your trip with a whiter smile? The clinic accepts a variety of insurance types and also provides babysitting services so that mothers with small children who often can't make time to visit the dentist can be seen in comfort. For those whose work is busy and cannot make much time for the dentist, treatment can be carried out in short, intensive treatment sessions.
