Noise Comments (SDF) May 26 Address City ZIP Time Types Comments Arlington Louisville 426 5/1/26 8:22 5;6;1 (SDF) I live in the Clifton neighborhood and called to complain about helicopter noise. Every morning between 5: & 5:3, a helicopter flies over our house waking my family. Prestwood DR Louisville 4219 5/11/26 14:36 7;12 (SDF) Could you tell me what noise level we are in? It is really noisy from all the airplanes over here. I really noticed it more this past week however, it is like that all the time. Prestwood DR Louisville 4219 5/18/26 16:25 7 (SDF) The noise from the planes was really bad about 2 weeks ago. It seems to have calmed down somewhat now. Prestwood DR Louisville 4219 5/18/26 16:26 7 (SDF) I am calling about the loud UPS aircraft. I know we are not in a sound insulation area, but I would like to know what can be done? Beau Brummell DR Fairdale 4118 5/25/26 17:49 6;7;11 (SDF) I was told the airplanes were supposed to start using the path of Minors Lane and be in that area. I would like to know why the planes keep flying over my house in Fairdale?

LOUISVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY NOISE COMMENT REPORT June 26
Noise Comments (SDF) June 26 Address City ZIP Time Types Comments Gillett Av. Louisville 4214 6/5/26 16:54 6;7;13 (SDF) The winds are northeast at 8 mph. What is going on? It is getting worse now than ever before. Tendale Drive Taylorsville 471 6/8/26 :13 5;6;7 (SDF) Another plane just woke me up out of a dead sleep. They do not need to be flying so low all the way out here, it is unsafe. Please look into this. They do this frequently, but not as bad as this one. Euclid AV & Utah Louisville 428 6/13/26 8:13 6;7;16 (SDF) It is getting to be a really bad problem with these airplanes flying over my house. It is every day, and they are flying real low. South Brook ST Louisville 4214 6/13/26 14:18 6;7;13 (SDF) Planes have been departing this way for the last several days. Lombardy DR Clarksville 47129 6/16/26 14:5 6;14;16 (SDF) It seems that the planes are getting a little too low over in this area. A UPS plane went over at about 1:37 p.m. and he was lower than he should have been. Last night was also bad. Lowell AV Louisville 425 6/25/26 21:8 12 (SDF) The subject line is misleading. I don't have a complaint about noise, but I do have a question. Can commercial flights land at any time at SDF, or do flights cease arriving after a certain time at night? I am a frequent business traveler and am curious if it is possible to get home at any time. I wonder if my carrier is estimating a 1:3 a.m. arrival, if this means that the flight is eventually going to be cancelled because of noise restrictions. Can you let me know if this is the case? Euclid AV Louisville 428 6/26/26 9:35 5;6;7;16 (SDF) At 3: a.m. this morning UPS was flying over the house. They are doing it in the afternoon also.
Noise Comments (LOU) June 26 Address City ZIP Time Types Comments Browns LN Louisville 422 6/2/26 12:51 6;7;16 (LOU) This has been going on for years. I finally have just gotten around to let someone know about it. It is mostly small planes but sometimes there is a big one that flies way too low. Sometimes it seems like they are going around in circles. Sometimes it is loud enough to hear over the heater or air conditioner. Winston AV Louisville 425 6/15/26 2:32 6;1 (LOU) A helicopter has been circling our neighborhood for about the last 45 minutes to an hour. It is a small navy blue (LOTUS) type. Planes coming in and going out is one thing, but this is not right. Stratmore Louisville 425 6/15/26 2:41 6;1;16 (LOU) A small red helicopter has been hovering and hovering over here for a long time. They should not be hovering over our homes like that.
