Then we ll head to the Kentucky Derby Museum which features a 360-degree high-definition film, "The Greatest Race that puts us in the heart of the Kentucky Derby action. The Historic Walking Tour of Churchill Downs Racetrack is included with our Kentucky Derby Museum experience. View the grandstand, clubhouse, finish line and winner's circle as knowledgeable tour guides showcase the history and tradition of Churchill Downs Racetrack. Our tour includes a visit with our equine residents located in the backyard paddock. The special holiday event includes Reindeer Games where holiday magic transforms the racehorses into racing reindeer and in a mock race with holiday style. Day #3 / Wednesday / November 30 This morning, we travel to Bardstown and visit Federal Hill Mansion, "My Old Kentucky Home" of Stephen Foster's ballad. During the Christmas Season the mansion is bathed in the warm glow of candlelight. Elegantly dressed guides will greet us at the door to escort us back in time. Holly, pine and fruit garlands, magnolias and the glow of candlelight adorn the stately mansion, while live traditional holiday music will fill the rooms with melodies. The tour also includes premium Bourbon tastings. Then we travel a short distance to visit Lights Under Louisville at the Louisville Mega Cavern. The cavern is transformed into an underground holiday light spectacular for the Christmas season.
