Local Playa del Carmen chairty, Angel Notion, have a lot on their plate; how you can help and get involved! Concerts for Angel Notion were a success Thanks to Paris Delane and the Late Paul Delay! Four children were sponsored from local businesses at 13,500.00 USD per child. They will be flying to Texas as soon as we get a confirmed date from Dr. Jorge Salazar and the Santa Rosa Children s hospital. 1 / 9
Our immediate needs for this mission are: Funding for 2 urgent children Spanish/English, English/Spanish Translators: You must have visas to enter the US, and be able to travel to San Antonio, Texas in the end of March or beginning of April. Your primary goal would be to assist the mothers and the babies during this time of surgery and healing. It s a 7 day trip depending on the child s recovery, and all of your expenses will be paid! It s a great way to be involved, but you must have patience! Angel Notions goal has always been to help a child every day, and in 9 years it has turned into thousands of people. Angel Notion has had a mission to create a center of cardiology for babies that are born with heart defects, however our goals have changed. Heart attacks have become the second highest cause of death in the state of Quintana Roo; number one being diabetes. Our revised mission has grown into a center where we would have access to international universities and institutions in Mexico who will come together to provide education, medical care, alternative options, prevention, technology to the residents of Quintana Roo. Please help us make this dream come true. Michigan state university and Angel notions relationship has defiantly gotten stronger! Our goal has always been to offer a range of services and education; we have grown to a point where MSU and Mexico are going to meet to see how we all can assist in the growth, education, and health care in the state of Quintana Roo. We need your participation to make this a success! MAYA-MSU Cooperation Initiative-Workshop and Meeting Schedule-March 21st through March 25th 2 / 9
