REPLACEMENT PARTS Review yur parts list t make sure all parts listed have been included in yur package. Mdel FT022 Frame Parts Ple Hubs (Attached t tent) Qty Misc. TIPS AND TRICKS In windy cnditins wrap the fly bungee arund the ple several times befre hking it t the ring, this will keep the rainfly frm flapping. Be sure t FULLY clse the dr zippers in rainy weather as water can find it s way thrugh an pen zipper. At a minimum we suggest SEAM SEALING the seams at the bttm f the windws t insure that water wn t cme thrugh the needle hles. When setting up yur tent be mindful nt t set it up underneath dead tree branches r limbs as these culd snap ff in windy cnditins. In sandy sil a lnger stake r a deadman such as driftwd r lgs will wrk better than a nrmal stake. Bury the deadman at least a ft int the sand and attach bth tent and deadman with the guylines. Carrying a cmbinatin f different types f stakes will make camping in different places easier and speed set up. Never pull n the tent t remve the stakes. This culd result in tearing the fabric r seams f tent. Stakes shuld nly be remved by pulling n stake itself. Refer t Trubleshting guide n the fllwing page fr additinal infrmatin. CARE Ultra Vilet (UV) Expsure Yur tent is made f UV resistant plyester fabric which is resistant but NOT impervius t the damaging effects f lng term sun expsure. We DO NOT suggest lng term set up f ANY f ur prducts as this will severely damage the tent fabric. Seam Sealing Gigatent suggests that at a MINIMUM the seams at the bttm f the windws shuld be sealed using a prduct like McNetts Seam Grip r a gd water based tent sealer t prevent misture frm cming thrugh the needle hles. Fllw the manufacturer's instructins when applying seam sealer. Structural Integrity Althugh the tent was cnstructed t rigid specificatins perids f wind and saking rain may lsen the stakes and guylines t the pint f allwing the rainfly t flap. This can in turn cause the ples t lsen weakening the verall structure. Lsening f the rainfly can als create pckets that can cllect water which can lead t ple failure. T insure that this des nt ccur take care during windy r rainy cnditins that all f the stakes and guylines are secure and tight. Strage DO NOT under any circumstances stre yur tent wet r damp. Mildew will quickly destry a tents waterprf cating. Allw yur tent t dry and then stre in a cl dry place. Washing Yur Tent NEVER machine wash a tent as this can cause damage t the waterprf cating. Hand wash with a mild sap and rinse with clean water and allw t COMPLETELY dry befre string. An extremely dirty tent can be set up and washed like a car r it can be washed in a bathtub using yur hands t agitate the water r a sft brush.

Thank yu fr purchasing a quality prduct frm GIGATENT. This trubleshting guide is designed t help yu srt ut sme f the pssible prblems yu might encunter with yur new tent. If yu are still having prblems with yur purchase please cntact us at 97-709- r email us at custmerservice@gigatent.cm TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM CONDENSATION MILDEW TEARS OR SMALL HOLES ZIPPER PROBLEMS SOLUTION Cndensatin is caused by lwer temperatures utside the tent which causes misture vapr frm humidity inside the tent and sleepers respiratin t frm water drplets n the walls and is mstly visible in the crners. T prevent this frm happening keep all bjects away frm the walls and pen up windws t allw the misture t escape. T avid mildew which can damage a tents waterprfing be sure t never stre yur tent damp r wrse wet. If mildew ccurs yu can use a prduct such as McNett Mirazyme t clean yur tent r yu can use a prduct slutin f lemn juice cncentrate and water t wash the area. After this yu will want t wash the area with sap and water and then let it dry COMPLETELY befre string. Tears and small hles can be fixed temprarily by using an adhesive patch kit fund in mst camping stres. Fr lng term patches it is best t bring yur tent t a repair facility r fr minr repairs yu can use McNett Seam Grip. Simply fllw the instructins and this will prvide a durable permanent patch. Zippers have 2 parts, the slider which is the part that pens and clses the zipper, and the zipper teeth. What nrmally happens is the zipper separates behind the slider. If this carefully mve the slider back past the separatin and re-zip. If this fails t fix the prblem yu may require a new zipper slider r a new cmplete zipper which a repair facility may fix fr yu. SEAM LEAKAGE Seams can leak thrugh the needle hles s applying a prduct such as McNett Seam Grip t yur tent befre ging camping is the best thing t d. We have seam sealed the rainfly fr yu but as a minimum we suggest sealing the seam alng the base f all the windws and alng the batch tub flr seams as this is the mst likely place fr leakage.
