This would be available for all the members connected through VSAT, Leased Line/MPLS and Internet. The new TradeX version 3.1.5, with enhanced features as mentioned in Annexure - A, would be available for all members connected through VSAT, Leased Line, MPLS and Internet. All users are requested to download the new version which will be available from Saturday, October 26, 2013, 9.00 a.m. onwards. It is mandatory to use Tradex Version 3.1.5 to participate in this mock. Kindly refer Annexure-B for stepwise instructions for downloading new version of TradeX. After the mock, for all members, it is mandatory to revert to Tradex Version 3.1.4. Tradex version 3.1.4 would be used in the live session on October 28, 2013 Members are advised to participate actively in the mock session to help exchange in testing the spread day functionality. Annexure B Step-wise Instructions for Members to install TradeX v3.1.5 Important: Members are requested to take back-up of the existing version before downloading the new version for mock session. Please refer to step-wise instructions for installation of the new TradeX version. Step 1: Backup of Client list Members are requested to take a backup of the existing client list by logging in the existing version and save the same in a secure location in their local drives. Step 2: Uninstalling existing version of TradeX (a) Go to Start Programs select TradeX 3.1.4 Build 02, then Select Uninstall TradeX 3.1.4 Build 02 option to remove the software. OR (a) Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (b) From the list of existing programs, select TradeX. (c) Click on the Change/Remove button to uninstall the software. (d) After successful completion of the process, the existing TradeX version should have been uninstalled from the system. Step 3: Download of TradeX v3.1.5 Build 2 TradeX v3.1.5 Build 2 is available for download in only Install Anywhere package. Note: Java Run-time Environment (JRE V1.6 or above) is required to use the Install Anywhere for installing TradeX. To find out if the system has JRE already, go to Start Run and type cmd to open an MS-DOS window. Type java version in the command prompt. If JRE is present in the system, the system shows the following text (assume JRE ver 1.6 is installed) : java version "1.6.0_13" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_13-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.3-b02, mixed mode, sharing) If JRE is not present, the system will not accept the command. Download TradeX_3.1.5 Build 2.exe file for Install Anywhere package Step 4: Installation of TradeX v3.1.5 Build 2 Members should note that the new version of TradeX should be installed only after close of market hours on Saturday, October 26, 2013. (a) Installation of TradeX_3.1.5 Build 2.exe using Install Anywhere i. Double-click the TradeX_3.1.5 Build 2.exe file ii. Follow on-screen instructions iii. Installation is complete (b) Enter Local IP and Relay i. Start TradeX Front End. ii. Press <Ctrl+Space bar> to enter Local IP address and Relay number. Note:- Relay number for Internet users using Tradex to connect to trading system is not required. (c) Upload latest Contracts (d) Import the Client List saved in Step 1 5 / 5
