ROBERT GAYMER-JONES President & Ceo Panorama Hospitality Management is led by Robert Gaymer-Jones, one of the world s foremost hoteliers. Mr. Gaymer-Jones philosophy of creating a lean approach to a profitable hotel management model, his keen ability to inspire team members at all levels and his energetic approach to creating an environment of success was honed by his 40 years of service in the luxury hotel and restaurant industry. He brings an unparalleled resume of management experience around the world, from small, stand-alone boutique hotels to major mixed-use hotel/residential developments. Mr. Gaymer-Jones served as CEO for Sofitel Luxury Hotels in Paris from 2007 to 2014, where he successfully led the re-positioning of the brand by downsizing and rebuilding Sofitel into a global luxury chain of more than 120 properties. Under his management, the ultra-luxury Sofitel brand of lifestyle hotels and the iconic legend portfolio were launched, and a number of new properties were developed around the world. In 2012, Mr. Gaymer-Jones was named CEO of the Year for the Luxury Industry. Prior to his tenure at Sofitel, Mr. Gaymer-Jones served with Marriott International as Area Vice President in Europe based in London. He began his career with classical training in hotels in Switzerland and has worked all over the world in senior hotel management positions.
