International Workshop Keys for Success for Safety and Health in SMEs Cost Calculation and Performance Indicators for Safety and Health June 17, 2009 Vienna Austria
Scope of the workshop Adequate indicators allow to determine the status of health and safety in companies and to keep track of the change after the implementation of organisational, technical or medical improvements. The positive effects of investments can be documented and they motivate companies to do more. This may be further supported by the knowledge of the costs an accident may cause. Easy accessible instruments for cost calculation in the WEB assist companies to estimate the uninsured costs of an accident. Examples for performance indicators and cost calculators will be presented in the lectures of the workshop.
