FULL DAY TRADITIONAL These camps are offered every session. MEM $170 PRO $190 Ages 5-6 (age 5 by first day of camp): This camp is designed to be an introduction to full day camp programs for our younger campers. We have specifically developed age-appropriate schedules and activities to meet their needs. Campers will enjoy fun-filled activities, such as canoeing, swimming, group games, fort builiding, arts & crafts and more. Ages 7-10: We use challenging and fun activities that feature weekly themes, promote personal growth and encourage campers to have fun with their friends. Our qualified and trained camp counselors will lead activities that will help to build your camper s self confidence, develop their social skills, teach them teamwork, deepen their respect for others and build lasting friendships. Ages 11-14: Campers will learn and explore new and exciting themes, while enoying fun camp activities and making new friends.
SPECIALTY CAMPS ALL CAMPS: MEM: $195 PRO: $215 Bug Camp (Ages 5-6): Explore a world beneath the dirt in a safe and educational way. Kids will learn about creatures in their own backyard! Session 5 Art Camp (Ages 5-10): Exciting hands-on activities allow campers to complete inspirational art projects, meet creative challenges and spark their imaginations! Campers will unleash their creativity as they explore and investigate their own thoughts, feelings and ideas through drawing, painting, and other artistic mediums. Sessions 2, 3 & 7 Session 10 (For ages 5-6 ONLY) SPLASH Camp (Ages 7-10): Do you love the water? Come and cool off for a week at our new Splash Camp. Campers will participate in everything from basic water safety, boating activities, water games, and swim time. Children will be required to pass the swim test to be in this camp. *Swim Test consists of treading water for 1 min, float briefly on back, and swim 25yrs without stopping. Sessions 4 & 7
SPECIALTY CAMPS ALL CAMPS: MEM: $195 PRO: $215 Tumbling+Cheer Camp (Ages 5-10): Designed for children of all levels and abilities. Gymnastics will train on four apparatus: beam, vault, floor and the tumble track. We will also practice hip/hop dance and cheer routines. All Sessions Pinewood Derby Camp (Ages 7-10): A chance for campers to build and race their very own pinewood derby car. Each camper will receive a personal kit! A local pinewood derby expert will provide helpful tips and tricks for the campers as they build and construct their race cars and prepare for race day! Sessions 4 & 8 Outdoor / Science Exploration (Ages 5-10): Did you know you can cook food in a shoebox? Have you ever built your own sundial or lava lamp? These are just a couple of activities we will be doing this week! This week we will introduce a new found love of science to your child through easy and simple science/nature experiments. SPECIALTY CAMPS FULL DAY STEM CAMPS: MEM: $235 PRO: $255 Others: MEM: $195 PRO: $215 STEM/LEGO Camp (Ages 5-8): Campers will explore the world of legos using S.T.E.M. based learning. Through collaboration, campers will expand their problem solving and team work skills. Each week will offer a different build. Sessions 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 & 9 STEM/Robotics Camp (Ages 9-10): Campers will explore the world of robotics learning aspects of programming, mechanical, electrical, and control systems engineering while building their own robots with S.T.E.M. based learning. Sessions 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 & 9 Mission Impossible (Ages 7-10): Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to hone your spy skills through forensic classes, obstacle courses, and covert training. These campers will learn to take fingerprints, become masters of disguise, and utilize clues to excel in their craft. Campers are sure to have a blast in this top secret training program. Session 2 & 9 Dance, Music and Movement Camp (Ages 5-6): A fun intro to dance, music and movement. Children will explore music, movement and dance. They will enjoy age appropriate ways to play, and find new ways to connect mind, body and movement! Sessions 4, 7 & 8
SPECIALTY CAMPS FULL DAY ALL CAMPS: MEM: $195 PRO: $215 Climbing Adventure (Ages 7-10): Adventure Climbing week is for kids of all ages who really love to climb and want to bring their skills to the next level. Whether you ve never climbed before and want to learn to do it right or are already an avid climber and want to get further into the sport, you ll find your place in this camp. We offer a full spectrum of instruction, from beginner to lead climber. Learn commands, knots, and develop proper climbing skills. Weeks 5 & 10 OWL Program (Ages 5-14): This program is designed for the camper with special needs and or developmental delays. The OWL program fosters the core development of those we serve by engaging children in therapeutic and recreational activities designed to promote independence and confidence in small group settings. swimming climbing swinging obstacle courses art nature This camp will function with a 1:3 staff to child ratio. SPORTS CAMPS ALL CAMPS: MEM: $195 PRO: $215 Sports Camp (Ages 5-14): A different team sport is the focus each week with an emphasis on skill development and team building. Session 1: All American Sports Session 2: Soccer Session 3: Basketball Session 4: Flag Football Session 5: Soccer Session 6: Session 7: Session 8: Session 9: Session 10: All American Sports Basketball Flag Football Soccer All American Sports Camp Swim Lessons (Ages 5-8): Learn to swim during camp with one of our experienced swim instructors. They will ensure that your child will have a fun, educational experience that will boost their selfconfidence. Child must be registered in camp the week of the lesson. 1-week sessions Sessions 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 & 9 Monday-Thursday, 45 min. MEM: $45 PRO: $65
TEEN CAMPS Mon - Fri: 9:00 am- 4:00 pm MEM: $210 PRO: $230 Survivor (Ages 11-14): Our Survivor Camp will provide experience and knowledge about wilderness exploration, nature awareness and basic survivalist skills. Activities include outdoor cooking, shelter creation, hiking and wildlife observation. All participants must be between the ages of 11-14. Sessions 4 & 7 Jr. Lifeguard (Ages 11-14): The Jr. Lifeguard Camp is not a lifeguard certification class, but it is a program designed to introduce participants to the necessary skills and knowledge that they will need to become lifeguards and leaders in the future. The program focuses on five key areas: prevention of aquatic accidents, fitness and swimming skills, response in an emergency, leadership skills, and professionalism. All participants must be able to swim 25 yards, and have some familiarity with treading water. Sessions 2 & 8 Video Production (Ages 11-14): This exciting program will provide teens the opportunity to film and produce their own documentary of a week at Camp Big Creek. Campers will be given the equipment needed to develop their own movie. The final product will be shown on Friday to the entire camp and will be posted online. Our goal is for this camp to be a perfect balance between technology instruction and traditional camp activities. Sessions 1, 6 & 10
TEEN CAMPS Mon - Fri: 9:00 am- 4:00 pm MEM: $210 PRO: $230 Climbing Adventure (Ages 11-14): Immerse yourself in climbing! The Adventure Climbing week is for kids of all ages who really love to climb and want to bring their skills to the next level. Whether you ve never climbed before and want to learn to do it right or are already an avid climber and want to get further into the sport, you ll find your place in this camp. We offer a full spectrum of instruction, from beginner to lead climber. Learn commands, knots, and develop proper climbing skills. Sessions: 3 & 10 Babysitting & Jr. CPR Camp (Ages 11-14): Participants will learn basic skills necessary for babysitting including: feeding, diapering, holding, picking up correctly and emergency response. This is the ideal class for the first time babysitter as well as helping to prepare the babysitter for an emergency situation. This camp will include Jr. CPR & First Aid which will cover CPR & First Aid skills a babysitter should know. Sessions 5 & 9 STEM/Robotics (Ages 11-14): Campers will explore the world of robotics learning aspects of programming, mechanical, electrical, and control systems engineering while building their own robots. Through collaboration, campers will expand their problem solving and team work skills. This is a camp that is out of this world unique! Each week will offer a different build. TEEN LEADERSHIP Mon - Fri: 9:00 am- 4:00 pm Navigators (Ages 13-14): In this camp teens will be introduced to our leadership program by having opportunities to assist in leading activities to younger campers. Campers will also have a leadership class each week to help prepare them for the next level in the ALA program. These campers will also have the opportunity to participate in general camp activities such as: climbing, outdoor education, themed group challenges, swimming, canoeing, sports and many others. Space is limited. 1-wk sessions Sessions 1-10 MEM: $210 PRO: $230 Advanced Leaders Camp* (ALC) (Ages 14-15): Campers will learn first hand what it means to be a role model and a positive influence in the lives of others. Our ALCs will not only grow personally, but will have the opportunity to impact the lives of the generation behind them through service projects, both on and off-site. These leaders will also attend daily leadership classes to help prepare them for future leadership roles. 2-wk sessions Sessions 2-3, 4-5, 6-7 & 8-9 MEM: $325 PRO: $350 Leaders in Training* (LIT) (Ages 15-16): As we prepare LITs to be our future camp staff and leaders of tomorrow, these students will have the opportunity to use their skills at camp. LIT will be paired with a younger group and assist in leading games and building bonds with campers. These Leaders will be evaluated by the head counselor to help them hone their skills. LITs will also have daily leadership classes to help prepare them for the future. 3-wk sessions Sessions 2-4 & 7-9 MEM: $375 PRO: $400 * ALC and LITs must complete an interview process.
