Snorkelling Scuba Diving The Whitsundays is blessed with having many bays and coves which are well protected from prevailing winds and large ocean swells or waves. This protection helps to foster the growth of many soft corals, such as the Coral Fans. These vivid soft corals attract many species of colourful fish. Guests will get the opportunity to snorkel when we stop at the bays around the islands. A thorough briefing will be provided by the crew. Guests are also offered floatation devices, including noodles or life jackets. While snorkelling a crew member will be close by in a tender ready to pick guests up. At many of our snorkelling locations the beach is within metres of the coral reefs and guests can swim ashore. Introductory or Certified Diving Our 5ft purpose built dive boat is located at the best Whitsunday dive locations and our vessels meet up with the dive boat. Guests have the option to complete Introductory or Certified Dives.
