Next Club Meeting: August 1, 2005 Location: Lum's Pond Pavilion Raffle: TBA Program Topic: TBA Next Club Event: Club Picnic: Sept Tolerable weather; showers to cool off sun to warm up. Great attendance; over 150 pilots and innumerable spectators. Top notch pilots and planes: they seem to get better each year! We fed about 200 people with pulled pork, corn beans and sauerkraut. The new vendor layout seems to have reduce our usual parking congestion. Thanks to all the volunteers and congratulations to Dave and Pete Malchione for putting on a classy show. Inside this issue: Minutes 1 Pictures 2 Pictures 3 Meeting Minutes The regular General Membership meeting of the Club was held on Tuesday July 11, 2006 at the Flying Site. President Dave Moyer called the meeting to order at 7:40PM. Guest included Syd Clement and Bob Scott. Bob was one of the founding members of the Delaware R/C Club. Show & Tell Tom Sterner displayed a Giles 200 which once belonged to the Malchiones. The plane is 20 years old and is currently being rebuilt. Old Business Paul Bryk thanked Terry Blanch for his R/C demonstration to the Girl Scouts Women in Aviation gathering. New Business Dave and Pete Malchione discussed the upcoming Warbirds Over Delaware event and preparations. Treasurer s Report Treasurer Dick Stewart reported on the Club s treasury.
