Welcome on board! We want you to feel good on board the MS Finlandia, so we have gathered some information we believe might be useful for you!
CHECK-IN COUNTERS You will find the counters with Eckerö Line logo in Helsinki Länsiterminali 2 (or Western Harbour T2), on the ground floor and in Tallinn A-Terminal, on the ground floor. Please present your passport/id card and booking number or voucher to our check in clerk and you will receive boarding card. With boarding card you can enter the waiting area through the boarding gate one hour before the depar-ture. The waiting area in Helsinki is on the same floor as the check-in, in Tallinn it is one floor up. The check-in closes 30 minutes be-fore the departure so make sure you are in terminal in good time. TO THE SHIP! When the boarding to the ship begins, please move from the waiting area to the ship. You will enter to the deck 6. Welcome on board! The walking distance from the terminal to the ship is short but it still takes some time, so don t be late! INFORMATION DESK Information desk on deck 6 gives you information about our ship and our destinations (for example city maps of Tallinn and Helsinki). You can also buy a cabin here to have your own private space on board. Information desk also sells some magazines and soft drinks as well as tobacco products.

SEATING ON BOARD You can choose any free place to sit down and relax. Please remember, that during the summer time, there is also about 450 seats upstairs, in our outer deck! Eckerö Buffet and Conference & Lounge require an extra fee but will serve you delicious food or snacks and drinks for it. If there is a table with someone sitting but still with some free seats - you can always politely ask if you can sit down there too maybe you will find a new friend! Why are snails and turtles so slow? They carry too much on their back! Get rid of your burden! LUGGAGE If you have some luggage that you don t need during your voyage, you can store it away in either our luggage room on deck 6 or luggage lockers on dekcs 6 & 7. TOILETS ON BOARD You can find toilets on decks 7, 8, 9, see ship plan available on every floor next to the stairs.
BUSINESS LOUNGE Next to our Information desk you can find our Business Lounge. For fee of only 20 you can use the Lounge s services: quiet sitting area with fast WIFI, fruits, sweet and savoury snacks as well as drinks: tea, coffee, juices, soft drinks, beer and wine. Once you have paid the fee, you can freely enter and leave the lounge during the voyage. WIFI and free coffee sound good, right?
Maybe you are the star today? SHOWTIME! On decks 8 and 9 you can enjoy live music in Bar Nosturi, on deck 8 also in Pub Telakka and in summer time on deck 9 in Bar Laituri. Please check Information Desk for cruise programme and join in!
Try our ship s sparkling wine to make the journey even more festive DRINKS You can enjoy a drink in any of our several bars on decks 8 and during summer time also on deck 9. For champagne head to Bar Naissaar, for whiskey and cognac to Bar Jätkasaari, for pub feeling and new products of Finnish and Estonian small breweries, head to Pub Telakka, all on deck 8! COFFEE AND TEA The best choice of coffee and tea can be found in ship s Cafeteria Satama on the deck 8. Cafe also serves sandwiches, snacks, hot meals and the most popular meal shrimp sandwich! But of course, Cafe has ice cream too! Try it yourself!
And like always with buffet all you can eat (and some more)! IT TASTES SO GOOD Our Cafe serves wide choice of cold and hot meals, small and big. The main restaurant of the ship, Buffet Eckerö offers best Finnish tastes in high quality buffet restaurant on deck 8 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is ideal place to have a real feast on the sea our cold and hot buffet are sumptuous and offers great tastes from Baltic Sea, Finnish forests, fields and gardens, always fresh and tasty! The price also includes soft drinks, coffee, tea, juices, beer and red and white wine. Come and check about the availability and rates!
SHOPPING Yes, that is the best entertainment! Check To think of it you deserve the gift even more than those at home! the new and traditional international brand fragrances and cosmetics in our Eckerö Market on deck 6, also Finnish brands like Lumene can be found there! And of course, extensive choice of sweets, chocolates, different kinds of drinks and some local tastes from Estonia can be found in our Market! On deck 8, come and see our PopUp shop where different jewellery, accessories etc make perfect gifts and souveniers!
OUTDOORS Ship s upper deck, deck 9 is a wonderful If you want to make pictures of Helsinki or Tallinn, the best time would be about 30 minutes before arriving to the port! place to have a small walk and to see the most wonderful seaviews!during the summer time, also bar is opened on deck 9! Come and breath the true air of the Baltic sea! Happy children make parents relaxed CHILDREN S PLAYGROUND In our Cafe on deck 8 you can find the playground area for kids, during the summer time also our conference rooms on deck 6 turn into a childrens play area!
TRAVELLING WITH VEHICLE When travelling with car, be in the port at least 1,5 hours before the departure, follow first the traffic signs and after check in also the guidance from traffic regulators both on land and in the ship. Please remember, that you can not stay in car or visit the vehicle during the voyage. Take it slow, you dont have to drive through the ship like James Bond! TRY YOUR LUCK No, we do not have casino on board but we sure do have some nice slot machines on deck 8 next to Pub Telakka and Bar Nosturi. SMOKING Please bear in mind, that our ship (including But you know, smoking is bad for you! cabins and toilets) is a non smoking area. Smoking is allowed only in the open air/in the outdoors in designated areas. Tobacco products can be bought in Information Desk at deck 6.
DISEMBARKATION Leaving the ship in destination is easy. Smile and breath in you are in another country now! It happens from the same place on deck 6 that you came on board. Our staff will always let you know about 10 minutes before we arrive to destination. Another announcement is made when the doors are opened and you can leave the ship. Kiitos, aitähh!
