Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park Entry Fee The entry fee for Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park is $25 per adult & $12.50 per child and is valid for 3 consecutive days. Child age is 5 to 15 years. When taking multiple Day Tours over 3 consecutive days in the National Park you only need to pay the fee once. This is an additional compulsory government charge and is subject to change without notice. You must carry your entry ticket with you every time you enter the National Park or you will be required to purchase another. *WiFi speed and connectivity can be intermittent outside major cities and towns

Your Driver Guide will provide details along the way as you visit historical sites and some of the essential services delivered from Alice to the community of this vast region. Optional add-on Alice Springs Established by the early explorers, Alice Springs began as a repeater station along the Overland Telegraph Line. Overflowing with history and heritage, Australia s most famous outback town is now the central headquarters to a range of services and a thriving tourism industry. The traditional custodians, the Arrernte people, refer to Alice as Mpwante. School of the Air Established in 1951, the Alice Springs School of the Air provides education to primary aged school children living on remote properties throughout the Northern Territory. You ll learn how this essential service is delivered via satellite across more than one million square kilometres. Alice Springs Telegraph Station Built in 1872 to relay messages between Darwin and Adelaide, the historic Telegraph Station is the site of the first European settlement in Alice Springs. After 60 years of operation, the premises then served as a school for the local Aboriginal children. Now a historical reserve, featuring the original stone buildings and furnishings from the early 1900s, the Telegraph Station is a must to visit and learn more of the history of the Alice. Royal Flying Doctor Service Now you ll visit the home and headquarters of the highly respected Royal Flying Doctor Service. Delivering medical services to people who live, work and travel in remote and rural Australia, the RFDS is a critical resource for this community. Learn of its remarkable history through stories, images and their wonderful interactive museum. Alice Springs Reptile Centre Home to the largest reptile display in Central Australia, the Alice Springs Reptile Centre will Tour + Alice Springs Desert Park Before your tour of the town, why not immerse yourself in the beauty of the Central Australian desert at the Alice Springs Desert Park? It s home to a vast range of plants and wildlife native to the area. You can really experience the beauty and diversity of this incredible landscape. Your Driver Guide will point out significant landmarks and share details of the region s history and rich culture. Angkerle (Standley Chasm) First stop is Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Take a walk along the stony watercourse, where spring-fed pools attract a great variety of wildlife and birds. Ellery Creek Big Hole Next you ll arrive at Ellery Creek Big Hole, a spectacular waterhole in the mighty Ellery Creek, which cuts through a gorge in the West MacDonnell Ranges. Thousands of years of massive floods have carved out this beautiful waterhole and unlocked some amazing geology. Ochre Pits Ochre has been used all over the world for decoration and painting since pre-historic times. At this location you can see the natural ochres in the cliff face that have provided a source of materials for Indigenous people for thousands of years. Ormiston Gorge Ormiston Gorge offers all the spectacular geology and landforms of the Tjoritja/MacDonnell Ranges. The rugged scenery of the gorge is complemented by a near-permanent waterhole, which attracts an interesting variety of native fauna and flora. Glen Helen Enjoy a Ploughman s lunch at Glen Helen Homestead Lodge with time to visit Glen Helen Gorge. The permanent waterhole here is home to many species of animals, including a variety of water birds and fish. Simpsons Gap Surrounded by towering cliffs, incredible Simpsons Gap is one of the best known destinations in the ranges and features a number of walking tracks. Walk through Simpsons Gap to the waterhole, keeping an eye out for the elusive black-footed rock wallabies hiding among the rocks. Palm Valley Aptly named, as it is the only area in Central Australia where red cabbage palms survive, Palm Valley is an incredible outback oasis. Despite the harsh conditions, the gorge is supported by small pockets of spring-fed pools that ensure the survival of a diverse range of plant species. From the 4WD on foot, you ll be amazed by the enormous rock formations, pinnacles, gorges and endless palm trees in the area. Finke Gorge National Park Sit back and relax as you enjoy a picnic lunch in the Finke Gorge National Park. Covering a staggering area of 46,000 hectares, it s noted for its ancient palms. The park holds great cultural significance for the Arrernte people and there is also evidence of early European settlement. Hermannsburg Aboriginal Community Visit Hermannsburg, known to the Arrernte people as Ntaria. Established as an Aboriginal mission in 1877, the land was returned to the Traditional Owners in 1982. It is the birthplace of celebrated Aboriginal artist Albert Namatjira in 1902 and is renowned for its indigenous art collection. Here you can wander through the amazing artworks at the gallery and explore the historic buildings, many of which are now protected by the National Trust. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy the view as we take you back to Alice Springs. Prices shown are in Australian currency, include GST and supersede all prices previously advertised. The operator reserves the right to cancel tours and amend prices, itineraries and days of operation as required. At times it may be necessary to provide alternative transport. Any personal expenses incurred by a client as a result of any delay, alteration or curtailment of any tour, whether caused by flooding or any other causes are the responsibility of the client. Refunds are not available for wet weather or changing weather conditions. Clients are strongly advised to take out travel insurance. All prices are valid subject to Government, hotel and fuel surcharges. Child Prices: Children 2 to 15 years of age are entitled to the child price on V Day and 1 Day Tours. Infants up to and including 1 year old are free of charge. Concession Prices: Australian Senior Card Holders, Australian and New Zealand pensioners and full-time Australian Students travel on concessional prices where applicable. Some tours not operated by AAT Kings are excluded from this discount. Please have your card with you. Cancellations: Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given: less than 6 days 50% of tour price, within 24 hours or no show 100% of tour price. Tour Participation: On an AAT Kings tour, children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Clients with disabilities are welcome on AAT Kings tours providing they are accompanied by an able-bodied companion and do not require special assistance from AAT Kings personnel. AAT Kings reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach tour travel and who may require services and facilities that AAT Kings cannot guarantee will be available.
