Page 9 Sharm El Sheikh Highlights Na ama Bay By day, the Na ama Bay is where the local tradesmen vend a variety of local goods, as well as a selection of ubiquitous Pharaonic statuettes that can be found throughout Egypt. However, by night the town comes to life as restaurants and bars are bursting with visitors wanting to savour a taste of authentic local cuisine and entertainment. Ras Mohamed About 30 km south of Sharm El Sheikh there is the southernmost part of Sinai: the Ras Mohamed. With its extraordinary beauty it is one the most interesting site in Sinai. The park is surrounded by magnificent coral reefs that are famous in the whole world for its unique beauty. These corals are part of an elevated promontory that emerged after a change in the coastline some 70.000 years ago. Several areas in Ras Mohamed are an amazing experience for divers and snorklers. Since the Gulf of Aqaba is very deep, the coral reef at Ras Mohamed sows up with a tremendous variety, enormous colors and spectacles under water scenes. Ras Mohamed is the point where two different water masses are coming together: the salty water from the Gulf of Suez and the less salty water from the much deeper Gulf of Aqaba. Cleo Park Cleo Park, the pharonic water park is considered the biggest water park in Sharm El Sheikh.
