halls 12 Gallus Hall GD Noted for its excellent acoustics, the largest hall of Cankarjev dom facilitates implementation of extremely demanding and complex events: symphonic, chamber, organ, jazz and other music concerts, opera and ballet, theatre, dance or entertainment performances and multimedia events as well as conventions. Equipped with superb technology, the hall is supplied with radio- or TV-broadcast transmission and simultaneous interpretation system. The theatre stage depth and width is 18 metres, the proscenium measures 145 m2, while the portal opening height is between 7.5 and 10 metres; it is also equipped with 48 counterweighted fly bars, a revolving stage on wagon, and an acoustic shell. halls 14 LD Linhart Hall The hall that features state-of-the-art technical equipment can host diverse music concerts, theatre performances, contemporary dance or entertainment programme, film screenings and conventions. P2 Foyer II E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6 Conference Rooms With a total surface area of 1,371 m2, the Foyer has recently undergone a major renovation and has been equipped with advanced technology. A most pleasant venue, it is suitable for corporate and social gatherings, celebrations, exhibitions, trade fairs, parties as well as educational and convention events. Taking into account the number of participants and type of event, part of Foyer II, measuring 400m2, can be divided into two or four smaller halls (E1 E4) by means of partition walls. Furnished with sophisticated technical equipment, the halls are suitable for roundtables, lectures, workshops and congresses.
