preliminary course The Marathon World Cup will take place on 7th and 8th June 2014, on the Lake Bohinj. The start and finish line and the portage will be in the same area. There will be 3 turning points all marked with 8 small red buoys. The Start will be held start. All around the course the depth of the water will be at least 1 meter. A 120 metres portage is placed on the bank of the lake near the start and the finish line. The portage areas are clearly visible and marked with red and yellow flags at the disembarkation and embarkation places. The disembarkation will be on the beach and the embarkation from the beach too. The portage will allow at least four K2s to be portaged simultaneosly. First day competition concept: There will be 2 heats, provided entries are more then 10 boats, with 10 or less direct to final. The first 3 from each heat go through to finals automatically, plus the 4 next best times from the two heats.

accomodation information Hotel Jezero **** is the pearl of Bohinj. It is one of the picturesque scenes that blends with the ascinating exoticism of nature in this part of Bohinj.
