CONNECTING NORTH-ITALY, CENTRAL/NORTH EUROPE WITH GREECE AND BALKAN COUNTRIES November 2015 Rail service between Venice and Frankfurt (via Brenner) serving in just 3 days to Germany cargo coming by sea from Greece, and viceversa. Coming soon New rail shuttle service Venice-Verona, and further connections to Duisburg and Rostock, to connect Balkan countries to Baltic Sea via intermodal connection (ship + train + ship) along Scan-MED Corridor.

Developing and upgrading of the East-Mediterranean Italy-Greece MoS link MoS VENICE-PATRAS Duration: 2017 2020 Partnership: North Adriatic Sea Port Authority (Coordinator), Patras Port Authority, Venice Ro-Port MoS. Supporting partner: Grimaldi lines, Kombiverkehr Total Budget: 10,046,667 CEF financing: 2,831,300 GOAL: establishing and sustaining the new maritime based link between the core TEN-T ports of Venice and Patras. Full integration in the Core Network Venice: BAC Corridor and MED Corridor Patras: Orient-East Med Corridor
