Transport Infrastructure Floorspace & Employment Projections Orbis is centrally situated to significant regional road linkages and transport infrastructure such as the Western Freeway, Western Ring Road and Deer Park Bypass. The 9.3km Deer Park Bypass which abuts Orbis opened in 2009 as a four lane freeway connecting the Western Highway at Caroline Springs to the Western Ring Road at Sunshine West. Future significant infrastructure in the vicinity of Orbis includes the Outer Metropolitan Ring/ E6 Transport Corridor which will accommodate a 100 Kilometre long high-speed transport link for people and freight in Melbourne s north and west. The Melbourne - Melton rail line abuts the northern boundary of Orbis. The new $5.3B Regional Rail Link from Werribee to Southern Cross Station will join the Melton line, just west of Orbis with a major upgrading of Deer Park railway station as part of the project. Initial contracts have been let with schedule completion in 2014. The existing and future road and rail linkages in Melbourne s west provides attractive opportunities for growth in industrial floor space together with associated and supporting office developments. Developer Profile Bricks & mortar That s the real start of construction That was our beginning In 1967 a humble bricklaying business was established by two brothers, Frank and Nunzio Pellicano. Just like the buildings we construct, we have built the business from the ground up to become a leading, national multi-discipline property and construction enterprise. The award winning, family owned and managed, Pellicano Group has evolved into a diverse operator within the wider property development and construction sectors, with a reputation based on an ongoing commitment to excellence in customer service and a meticulous attention to detail. It s a passion all generations of the Pellicano family share. As the younger generation take the group to new heights, the building arm still remains at the heart of the business. As Frank Pellicano says; It s still our foundation. The family business is a private company with a rich history entrenched in family values. It s a history, and future that the family are proud of. Today, the company owns and manages over 170 properties, with over 280 commercial clients, working in conjunction with our traditional construction business and property development division. for information on our company, please visit www.pellicano.com.au Wide roads for easy truck access Underground power Drought tolerant landscaping Positive estate covenants Enterprise grade high speed fibre optic broadband Architecturally designed buildings Controlled intersection to main entrance
