The Michelin Star, 3 AA Rosette restaurant pays homage to both tradition and innovation, offering a variety of delectable dishes in a distinctively sophisticated English setting. The menu, created by Michelin star chef Matthew Tomkinson, uses only the finest quality seasonal ingredients, which are, as far as possible, local, free-range and organic. Out and About The Montagu Arms is ideally situated for exploring the local area. Whether you enjoy walking or would prefer to cycle along one of the New Forest s dedicated routes of over 200 miles of track, there is plenty to discover. Catch a glimpse of the deer at Bolderwood at feeding time, follow the fascinating Tall Trees Trail at Blackwater and see the famous Rhododendrons along the enchanting Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. Local attractions include: Beaulieu Palace House, Abbey and Motor Museum a favourite with adults and children alike, the glorious Exbury Gardens, The New Forest Otter and Wildlife Park and also Bucklers Hard and Maritime Museum the historic shipbuilding village where Lord Nelson s fleet was built. The nearby town of Lymington offers pretty boutique-lined cobbled streets and a Saturday market, plus a charming marina and ferries to the Isle of Wight.
