The CLP Energy Efficiency Exhibition Centre in Sham Shui Po was opened in August 2009 to show the latest energy saving technologies in wide range of lighting, HVAC and control systems. All of the general lighting product and lighting control system in the Centre were supplied by ATAL, such as the fully dimmable LED downlight and tracklights. Benefits from the LED lights outstanding performance, it deliver a clear message to the visitors how to improve the quality of life by increasing energy efficiency. Healthcare Castle Peak Hospital The Jockery Club Serene House Castle Peak Hospital is a psychiatric hospital with 1,284 beds. In order to minimize the environmental impacts bring by the use of those exhaustible energy sources, government trends to replace them by energy-efficient lamp source. As a pilot scheme, 10 nos. of 18W CFL downlight were replaced by 12W LED downlight. As long as the one to one replacement, the lumen output improves by 20%. Harbour City Entrance Lobby Office The Harbour City Mgt. renovated the office entrance lobby in 2008 to compete with other newer Grade A office buildings around the city. In the new design, energy saving becomes a huge factor. In order to keep Harbour City s elegant image and achieve energy saving performance, LED spotlights are installed in place for halogen downlight. Exhibition Noah s Ark The Noah s Ark, is 1 out of 3 main features of Ma Wan Park Phase 1 development. Joint effort of the Hong Kong S.A.R. Government and the developer, Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd., a multiplex centre is designed in the full size of the original vessel as described in the Bible. The structure included facilities such as multi-media exhibition venues, 4-D cinema entertainment, activity centres, and guesthouses. In the 2 multifunction halls, RGB LED strip IIs are installed on the ceiling to create different color effects in various ceremonies. Sino has recently finished a complete renovation and refurbishment of the whole venue. One of the main work was the new build escalator in the Main Atrium to 3/F with LED 2D Matrix lighting.
