EXHIBITIONS: BRINGING BUYERS AND SELLERS TOGETHER An effective exhibition plays a unique role in the business cycle of an industry. Unlike most other sales and marketing options, exhibitions include a collaborative dimension, where the industry comes together to create a showcase for buyers and sellers. Plus, the business exchange dynamic of an exhibition is the ideal complement to the knowledge exchange role of a conference. At ETF we believe exhibitions need to do more than just showcase products on the floor. Visitors and exhibitors attend trade shows to be inspired by new products and services. They want to be informed and educated through seminar or conference programs and are there to do business, learn and network. We start by understanding our client s objectives and use this as a foundation for our approach. Our strategic planning then pro-actively explores how an exhibition can support the key event objectives such as: Providing an environment for people to meet and conduct business. Creating an exhibition that helps attract more delegates, and the right delegates. Ensuring the diversity of the exhibitor base. Maximising revenues and helping reduce overall costs. Enhancing the event s and the association s brand. Enhancing the event s contribution to the industry. Developing seminars alongside the exhibition that deliver education and inspiration. ETF has experience in delivering a diverse range of exhibitions, from small trade events for niche industries, through large consumer shows and global scale exhibitions. Exhibitions are part of the marketing mix the effective part An exhibition has the power to bring the most active prospective clients to you. Benefits of exhibitions far outweigh anything in the digital world. 80% of professionals say attending exhibitions helps their job performance. 83% of visitors have authority to purchase. 72% of visitors intend to buy either at the event or in the near future. CASE STUDY Irrigation Australia Conference & Exhibition Event ETF has managed the Irrigation Australia Conference and Exhibition in partnership with Irrigation Australia Limited since its inception in 1992, with the exception of 2012. The event objectives are to deliver the premiere exhibition for the irrigation industry and enhance the brand s exposure in the marketplace. Results ETF grew the exhibition by nearly 300% over a four show, 8 year cycle. The return to the industry association also grew at this rate on the back of this success. As Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) in 2008 and 2010, ETF grew delegate attendance by 47% in year one and 20% in year two, again providing the industry association with a profit making conference. As the CEO of the Australian Irrigation Association I worked three times with ETF as they organised our biennial conference and exhibition, Irrigation Australia. What impressed me was ETF s thorough understanding of our industry and their contribution towards creating an event that met our delegates and exhibitors needs. Through a strategic approach they significantly increased our conference and workshop attendance and grew the international base of the exhibition. Mr Jolyon Burnett Chief Executive Office 2002-2008 Irrigation Australia Association Portfolio of Services 7

As proud owners of AUSPACK the APPMA is extremely pleased that the exhibition was an outstanding success. AUSPACK PLUS 2013 achieved not only a record number of exhibitors, but also the highest number of visits in Sydney for over a decade. The most pleasing aspect of the show was the level of optimism by both exhibitors and visitors. In particular the positive feedback received from a majority of our exhibitors on the high level of enquiries and quality that they received at the show. Mark Dingley APPMA 8 Portfolio of Services

WORKING WITH OUR PARTNERS TO DELIVER SUCCESS Whether we are working with an association or a corporation, ETF has earned a reputation with our partners for developing and enhancing relations with the key commercial, industry and government stakeholders to build both the event s and the owner client s brand values. For many industries, their association can play a central role hosting, or supporting the industry exhibition and conference, contributing to the growth of the industry. ETF understands how a well designed conference and exhibition can contribute to an association s broader industry, policy, financial, education, networking and membership objectives and we are proud of the long term relationships we enjoy with many of our partners. CASE STUDY AUSPACK PLUS 2013 Event ETF has managed this event since its inception in 1987, working closely with the event governing body the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA). The event objectives are to increase membership for the APPMA, deliver a successful exhibition and enhance the Association s reputation in the marketplace. Results The AUSPACK exhibition has progressively expanded its reach to become the leading exhibition showcasing packaging, processing and plastics machinery, materials and associated technologies in Australia. The 2013 team delivered the largest Sydney show to date, both in floor space and revenue return, with an increase of 45% since the last Sydney show in 2009. Further the APPMA reported an 11% increase in membership post show. There was also increased awareness of the association through engagement with Local Government, with the Minister for Fair Trading opening the show as well as the International Trade Commission with a dedicated Trade Commissions lunch. INTERNATIONAL PORTFOLIO From America to Australia, South Korea to Spain, ETF brings more than 35 years experience, across five continents, delivering effective and targeted exhibitions, conferences and events. We have successfully managed the world s largest exhibition for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG X Series) since 1998, with the next two events being managed by ETF taking place in Australia (2016) and China (2019). In 2009 ETF was appointed as the exhibition and sponsorship manager for the World Gas Conference by the Malaysian Gas Association to run WGC2012 in Kuala Lumpur. We have since been appointed by the French Gas Association (WGC2015, Paris) and the American Gas Association (WGC2018, Washington). ETF is the only exhibition organizer to be appointed more than once for this event. In 2014 we welcomed two new events to ETF s international portfolio. We won the bid for the NGV (Natural Gas Vehicles) 2016 Conference and Exhibition by offering a fresh approach to the 26 year old event. This included, providing clear objectives, strategies and tactics to diversify their delegate base, grow the size and scope of the exhibition, broaden the revenue stream, enhance member benefits and strengthen the brand value of the association. We were also appointed to the China LNG exhibition in partnership with the China LNG Association. The annual domestic event will be held for the first time in Shanghai in 2015. 10 Portfolio of Services

CASE STUDY International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas Event Since 1998, ETF has provided end-to-end management for the exhibition and sponsorship of this event as it moves around the world. Results Over this period we have delivered 1,000% growth and created the world s largest and most prestigious natural gas exhibition, which last year was held in Houston Texas, USA. During our time managing the show, ETF has grown the event to 344 exhibitors from 33 countries spanning 14,000sqm and won the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia Best Team Award for the 2010 Event held in Algeria. For the most recent event, ETF successfully launched and delivered two new pavilions into the event one for the Natural Gas Vehicle industry and one for the recruitment, education and training sector. These two pavilions delivered over 30 new exhibitors to the event. Further, ETF also successfully launched two new international pavilions for the most recent event the Canadian and China pavilions which delivered 20 new exhibitors to the event. In addition, we successfully leveraged the local market by attracting well over 100 new to the event USA-based exhibitors. In my 31 years in the natural gas industry I have never had the opportunity to work with such a dedicated and professional group of individuals. This is clearly a testament to the corporate culture and the leadership at ETF. LNG 17 was the largest event the American Gas Association has conducted in our ninety two year history and we chose ETF because of their proven dedication and innovation in planning, selling and delivering global standard exhibitions.
