Online Registration Packs can save money by pre-registering their pack Register online and reserve spots for your scouts. The cost for the Pack will then be: $6.00 each Cub Scout/Webelos Scout (includes patch & lunch) $5.00 each Siblings (if they participate, lunch included, under 5 free) Day of Event Registration: $8.00 each Cub Scout, Webelos Scout (includes patch & lunch) $7.00 each Siblings (if they participate lunch included) $3.00 Lunch only (for parents) $2.00 each additional patches Concession stand will be available for food: Hot Dogs, Chips and Drinks.
What is a Cub-O-Ree? The Cub-O-Ree is a day filled with fun, games and skills. Scouts will be set up into Dens of appropriate ranks (Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, Arrow of Light) so that they can work on skills of their Den level. Each Den will participate in activities designed to help them along the Cub Scout Trail. Arrow of Light Scouts will be working with Boy Scout Troops and Patrols. There will be a Pack/Family Overnight Saturday Evening with fun and activities. Lions are allowed to participate, however there are separate activities designed for Lions. Lions CANNOT participate in BB Guns, Archery or Slingshots. Health Forms All participants (Scouts, Siblings and Adults) are required to have the BSA health form (Parts A & B Only). Please bring a copy of the health form and turn them in at registration, they will not be returned after the event. What should I wear? This is a day of fun in October so jeans and a tee shirt (Pack T s encouraged), light jacket & sneakers. If sleeping over, plan on packing camping gear (see list below). Always watch the weather and dress accordingly. Registration On-line registration is required. You can register at events.nashuavalleybsa.org. Packs will be asked to give an estimate of the number of Scouts and Siblings attending the event. No deposit is required but online registration is required to hold the spots for the Pack. We ask to try to get as close to the total number of youth attending, more can be added on the day of the event at the pre-registration price. Units can register on the day of the event, but the cost for each youth participating will be at the late registration price of $8 for scouts & $7 for siblings. Units are strongly encouraged to pre-register on the Council Activities website. In case of a cancellation due to inclement weather, please contact our council center at 978-534-3532. This is a rain or shine event. Pack/Family Campout We encourage all Packs to campout Saturday evening and enjoy the festivities. There will be a flag ceremony, dinner time, campfire program and more! After the activities are finished on Saturday, Packs may set up their sites (starting at 4:30 PM). Packs will need to supply their own dinner and breakfast. You will be given a schedule of events upon check-in for each Den Level. Please follow this schedule. Tigers and Bears will have Adventure Skills in the morning while Wolves and Webelos/Arrow of Light will have Open Activities (see below). In the afternoon the Wolves and Webelos will have Adventure Skills, Arrow of Light Scouts will be working with Boy Scout Patrols and the Tigers and Bears will have Open Activities.
