W OCT / NOV ISSUE 05 Riverton Community Association Riverton Times Your Community Newsletter INSIDE THIS ISSUE TOPIC PAGE Autumn is Here.. 1 Riverton Updates.. 2 Halloween Party. 3 Senior Thanksgiving. 3 Calendars. 4 ARB Updates... 5 BOD Update. 6 Advertisements..... 7 Autumn is Here! Autumn is a beautiful time of the year as leaves change colors, corn fields are turned into corn mazes, and people enjoy apple picking, football and Halloween activities. As the crisp air and cool nights approach, the leaves start to drop and fall cleanup will soon be upon us. As you are raking leaves, please note the Town of Henrietta will open their dumpster across from Martin Road Park for yard debris. They request that residents place leaves in containers (no bags will be accepted). Last year the town had the dumpster open the last 2 weeks in October & first 2 weeks in November. The town is hoping to confirm 2017 dates soon by posting complete details on their website and via the Penny Saver. Hope you can get out and enjoy all the fun fall activities and hikes before the snow comes our way. Don t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 5 th at 2am for daylight savings. 1

Riverton Updates \ G R O U N D S U P D A T E Quality Trees will be busy again at Riverton finishing up with some dead trees and stump removal. The Town of Henrietta is hoping to remove town-owned trees at Riverton in late fall. Hidden Valley is busy mowing Riverton common grounds on Mondays. In addition, they trimmed and cleaned up seating areas with assistance from Kim, repaired lawn ruts, removed the old playground and added safety mulch to playgrounds in need. Next, Hidden Valley will be working on re-seeding tree stump areas. Thank you to everyone who shared positive comments about the work Hidden Valley & Kim has done! C O M M U N I T Y C E N T E R We are currently getting quotes to remove carpet and install laminates. We are hoping to use the same laminates that are in the kitchen currently. T E N N I S & B A S K E T B A L L C O U R T S The tennis and basketball courts will be closing for the season on November 1, 2017. If you have a key for the courts, please return it to office by placing it in an envelope with your name, address, and phone number. You can drop off the key at the Riverton Office during business hours or after hours by using the mail slot in the main door. The office will shred any deposit check(s) after we receive the key (unless you request that the check be mailed back to you). Any questions, please call the office at 585-359-2090. A S S E S S M E N T S Thank you to all residents that paid their assessment on time and for stopping in the office to say hello. We enjoyed meeting everyone and answering questions. For any residents that are late with their assessment payments, it is Riverton s policy to charge service fees and interest fees. In addition, if your account remains unpaid a lien is placed on your property and your account goes to collections. Liens must be paid when selling your house. B E I N G A G O O D N E I G H B O R Riverton is a beautiful community, and we are all working together to keep it looking great.
