THE 2016 POLICY CONFERENCE APP COMING SOON! AVAILABLE FOR IPHONE AND ANDROID DEVICES To provide you with a personalized digital companion to the conference, we redesigned the Policy Conference App from the bottom-up. The PC16 App makes your conference experience even easier because it offers quick access to your personalized schedule as well as other important information. You ll find up-to-the minute conference schedule information and personalized notifications and alerts. The PC16 App also contains comprehensive speaker and session listings, maps, transportation information, memos and analysis, and more. Once the PC16 App is available*, follow these easy steps: 1. Download the PC16 App from the Apple App Store or Google Play 2. Log in using your MyAIPAC credentials You ll be asked to provide this information only the first time. 3. Then follow the prompts! The app will ask you to click ok to a few easy prompts. A prompt will ask you to allow access to Salesforce. THE NEW POLICY CONFERENCE APP CONT. The PC16 App has lots of great features designed with you in mind. Starting with the app s home screen, you ll find such tools and information as: A reminder about your next scheduled event, with links to details about the session and a map to get you there. The What s Happening carousel highlights programs and important information about the conference. This will update as the conference progresses. At the bottom of the screen, you ll find personalized push notifications. You can also access your notifications from the alert bell icon on the screen s upper right corner. Use the main menu (on the screen s upper left corner) to access all of the app s features, including a searchable schedule, speaker information and logistics details. And much, much more! DELEGATE CHECK-IN AND SECURITY THE AIPAC POLICY CONFERENCE TAKES SECURITY VERY SERIOUSLY. BADGES MUST BE WORN AND VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES. You must present your badge and a government-issued photo ID when entering any conference venue. The name on your badge and your government-issued photo ID must be a match or near match. For security reasons, please do not photograph your badge or share it on social media at any time. Magnetometers are sensitive to metal. To ensure quicker entrance into conference venues, be prepared to empty your pockets. Place any pins on your lanyard for easy removal. BADGE MAILING Most delegates will receive their badges and lanyards by mail before the conference. Badges will not be mailed to delegates with mailing addresses outside the U.S. BADGE PICK-UP If you have not received your badge in the mail, have forgotten it at home, or need to make a change to your badge, please visit the Delegate Badge Pick-Up Desk at the Renaissance Hotel, located at the address to the right. Badges only may be picked up during the times to the right. You must claim your badge in person; a family member or friend cannot pick it up for you. All children must be registered and have a Policy Conference badge. High school delegates who do not have a governmentissued photo ID may present a current schoolissued photo ID. In the event your badge is lost or stolen, please visit the Delegate Badge Pick-Up Desk and we will void and re-print your badge. FINDING YOUR WAY CONT. ENTERING THE MARRIOTT MARQUIS HOTEL The main entrance to the Marriott Marquis Hotel is located at 901 Massachusetts Avenue NW between 9th Street and 10th Street NW. Starting 3:00 pm on Saturday, access to the Marriott Marquis will be limited exclusively to Policy Conference delegates. Badges and government-issued photo IDs are required upon entrance at this time. Guests staying at the Marriott Marquis on Saturday should plan to bring their badges with them if they leave the hotel after 3:00 p.m. Once you have passed through security at the Washington Convention Center or the Marriott Marquis, you will not be required to pass through security again as you move between the two venues via the underground concourse. AIPAC staff schedule all Policy Conference lobbying appointments in advance. If you are scheduled to lobby, your PC Agenda Builder will show: Your Lobby Caucus Meeting on Monday from 11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Details about your lobbying appointment on Tuesday. Appointments take place between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. During your Lobby Caucus Meeting on Monday, you ll meet your lobbying Group Leader and learn how to make the most of your meetings on Capitol Hill from an AIPAC staff member. Details about travel arrangements to and from Capitol Hill will be discussed during your training session. RELIGIOUS SERVICES SHABBATON For delegates who will be in Washington, D.C. over Shabbat, we offer the opportunity to participate in special AIPAC programming services, meals and learning experiences. Rabbi Steven Weil of the Orthodox Union and Rabbi Dr. Donniel Hartman of the Shalom Hartman Institute will be our Scholars-in-Residence for the Shabbaton. Additional scholars from the Shalom Hartman Institute will join them. Your $225 fee covers all Shabbaton meals and programming. To register for the Shabbaton, please click here. You can also register using your Agenda Builder by selecting Shabbaton 2016 on the Friday tab. Shabbaton registrants will receive a ribbon that must be affixed to your Policy Conference badge. This ribbon will allow observant delegates security access through the end of Havdalah. Shabbat observant delegates may still be subject to Shabbat-appropriate security procedures. DAILY JEWISH PRAYER SERVICES Throughout the conference, there will be daily traditional and egalitarian Jewish prayer services.
