This appliance shall only be used with butane gas only cartridges certified to EN417. It may be hazardous to fit other types of gas cartridge. 2. The cartridge should be placed away from flammable products or the direct rays of the sun. Be sure to close the gas control valve securely after using. Never keep cartridges in places over 40ºC. 3. REGULAR CHECKING AND CLEANING Cautions on checking and cleaning 1. Make sure that the gas cartridge is released before checking and cleaning. 2. Never remove or modify safety devices and gas components. Checking and Cleaning 1. Body: Wipe off with a clean cloth. When necessary, use a mild kitchen cleanser and then finish with a dry cloth. 2. Pan support and drip pan: After washing, wipe with a dry cloth. 3. Burner: Clean the burner top and the burner ports with a hard brush making sure that all particles are removed from the burner ports. Take care not to damage electronic igniter. 3
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must only be used in an above ground open air situation with natural ventilation, without stagnant areas, where gas leakage is rapidly dispersed by wind and natural convection. Any enclosure in which the appliance is used should comply with one of the following: (A) An enclosure with walls on all sides, but with no overhead cover. (B) Within a partial enclosure that includes an overhead cover and no more than two walls. (C) Within a partial enclosure that includes an overhead cover and more than two walls, the following must apply: 1 1 (1) At least 25% of the total wall area is completely open. (2) 30% or more in total of the remaining wall side, back and front wall areas is open and unrestricted. (3) In the case of balconies, 20% or more of the total wall area must remain open and unrestricted. 2 1 4 2
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Open gas can port Insert finger into port and gently pull up gas can hood. Secure indent on upper rim of Butane Gas canister with gas can grip on unit. 2. Insert Gas Canister Important: make sure ignition knob/flame adjuster is completely turned to the right prior to inserting gas canister. 3. Press Gas Can Lock down firmly Canister should be held securely in place. 4. Close Gas Can Hood Firmly close as shown below. 5
5. Turn Ignition Knob/Flame Adjuster completely left Knob will audibly click into place and burner will ignite. If burner does not light, return control knob to off position and repeat procedure. 7. Extinguish after use Turn Ignition Knob/Flame Adjuster completely to the right to extinguish flame. Allow unit to cool. 6. Place Pot/Pan on Range Adjust flame by turning Ignition Knob/Flame Adjuster. Turn left to increase flame or right to decrease flame. During operation the pot/pan holder and burner assembly will become extremely hot Do Not Touch. Once the appliance had been used move to a secure location and allow to cool before storing in the plastic carry case. Ensure that the gas cartridge is removed from the appliance prior to storage. Store the gas cartridges separately to the appliance. 8. Release Gas Can Lock Press Gas Can Lock up to release canister. Remove gas can when not in use. Store in cool dry place away from direct sunlight. 6

To re-ignite burner, remove cartridge from gas range. Turn knob to ON position to remove excess gas from valve. After 5 minutes reset safety device by pushing down and replacing cartridge.
