Welcome... Welcome to our Winter guide for 2017. The guide is packed with really useful information about our services, local attractions, late night shopping, all of our Christmas timetables and a great offer too! From Sunday 5th November, we introduced our Winter timetable across all bus and tram services in the town. If you haven't already, pick up your latest timetable from our Customer Centre on Market Street or on our website. Our timetables do change slightly over Christmas and New Year but this only affects services between 24th December - 1st January. Our standard timetable will run on all other dates. Further timetable information is available in this guide. The easiest way to travel is with our app. Check live bus times at your nearest bus stop and buy the ticket of your choice online before you travel. Late Night Shopping With Christmas fast approaching, we know everyone is starting to get into the holiday spirit whether that be shopping trips or party nights with friends and colleagues. Blackpool offers a diverse range of local shops, eateries and entertainment venues. In addition, there will also be the traditional Christmas markets where you are sure to pick up a bargain to fill those Christmas stockings! Houndshill Shopping Centre's Late Night Thursdays this year will be on 7th, 14th and 21st December where the centre will be open till 8pm. The centre is also open late on Friday 22nd December until 8pm. Our Christmas Gift to You! 1 travel on all Blackpool Transport buses and trams to and from Blackpool town centre on late night shopping nights this Christmas! We also want you to stay safe when you're travelling about the town this year so we've got some handy tips for you to help you on your way! Plan ahead - make full use of our handy app and make sure you plan your journey before you head out. On board - depending on the weather conditions, on board the bus or tram can sometimes be slippery so watch your step when boarding and alighting. Stay together - if you're with friends, make sure you stay together and that no-one is left behind on their own at the end of the night. Take advantage of our group ticket if there are 3 of you travelling together. Keep up to date - stay up to date with our services and how they are running through live departure times via our app. Heading home - when you get off the bus or tram, make sure you have all your belongings with you including your house keys.
