With over a million people watching our spectacular event from the harbour foreshore, this guide has everything you need to plan ahead. Best seat in the house Our map is the best way to plan your New Year s Eve and find the best spot to watch the show. If you re spending New Year s Eve at one of these prime positions, make sure you plan ahead. These conditions apply at all our vantage points:

BYO alcohol and no glass. Bag searches are a condition of entry; Vantage Points will close when they reach capacity. This is usually earlier in the day, so get there early, download the app (telstra.com/nye) or visit the website (sydneynewyearseve.com) to get live updates on the day; and There will be toilets. Some sites will sell food, drinks and alcohol. Program of events It's not just about midnight. The Sydney New Year's Eve program keeps you entertained from sunset to the final countdown. 6pm & 8pm Air displays above Sydney Harbour Thrills over the water. 700 pm Fire tug water display, Sydney Harbour Tug boats show off their spray power. 8.30pm Pylon projections on both sides of the Sydney Harbour Bridge The north and south bridge pylons come to life with huge projected images.

Highlights including 9pm family fireworks, Harbour of Light Parade and midnight fireworks will be audio described live from the foreshore, bringing the 2015 Sydney New Year's Eve program to life for listeners.

The fun kicks off at 8.30pm when Eddie, ABC KIDS and ABC 3 take over your TV for the spectacular 9pm family fireworks. Eddie will be joined by a jam-packed cast of celebrity friends to farewell 2015 as the country counts down to the breathtaking midnight fireworks. Plan ahead and use public transport Public transport is the best way to get around on New Year s Eve. Leave the car at home and take advantage of extra services. Take your Opal card for easy travel. Train More than 1,000 extra trains will run on New Year s Eve. Plan to get into the city early to get your spot for the fireworks. Circular Quay - Between 6pm and 1am you will not be able to get off at Circular Quay. You can walk to the harbour foreshore from Wynyard, St James or Martin Place. Domestic Airport and International Airport - trains will stop at airport stations on New Year s Eve until 1am and recommence from 5am on New Year s Day. Milsons Point - After the fireworks the only entrance to Milsons Point Station will be from Ennis Road (off Broughton Street). If you are walking up Alfred Street you will be asked to continue walking to rth Sydney Station. Bus There are over 3,500 extra buses to get you to and from the celebrations, but extensive road closures will be in place and bus stops will be moved.

Ferry Extra ferries will run until the harbour exclusion zone commences. The last service time from some wharves is as early as 5.35pm. Ferries are expected to be very busy, so have a back-up plan. After the midnight fireworks, extra ferries will run on some routes to get you home. However, they are expected to be crowded or may be delayed if the harbour exclusion zone time is extended. Light Rail Extra light rail services will operate every 7-8 minutes between 6pm and 2am. To plan your trip go to sydneynewyearseve.com or phone 131500 Getting home Large crowds will be leaving the Sydney CBD and rth Sydney at the end of the fireworks, and you may need to leave from a different location than you originally planned. Staff will be on the ground directing you to your nearest transport locations. Leaving a little later might mean you avoid the crowd, but plan your trip to make sure you don t miss your lift home. Road closures There will be significant road closures and special event clearways in the Sydney CBD, rth Sydney, lower north

shore, inner west and the harbour foreshore. The Sydney Harbour Bridge will be closed from 11pm - 1am. Taxi pick-up and drop-off may be restricted.
