ATTACHMENT 3 LACAC/KOREA COURSE AIRPORT ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT (Guatemala City, Guatemala, 17 to 21 April 2017) GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Place and date LACAC/Korea Course "Airport Environment Management" will be held in Guatemala City, Guatemala from April 17 to 21, 2017. 2. Arrival at the airport and transportation International airlines flying to Guatemala City arrive mainly at La Aurora International Airport located in Guatemala City. The DGAC Guatemala will not provide transportation from airport to hotel, It is necessary that at the moment of making your reservations request the airport shuttle service to hotel with your respective Hotels. The DGAC Guatemala will provide transportation from Monday, April 17 until Friday, April 21, from your hotel to Vista Real Hotel, which is why it is important to promptly notify the hotel where you will stay, if it were not the Vista Real Hotel, to the following email address: seminarioclacdgac@gmail.com, to carry out the pertinent coordinations. 4. Participation requirements Work experience in Civil Aviation Authority and/or airports from LACAC Member States Preferably with three (3) years in airport environment and/or GHG management. Good health. 5. Expenses Airfare, meals and accommodation fees for this course shall be paid by participant s side. 6. Participants Registration Registration of delegates will be held on the first day from 08:00 to 09:00 hrs. Participants must preregister by sending the completed form to: email clacsec@icao.int, before April 7, 2017.

Material After the event, participants will receive a certificate and an electronic file including presentations and photo. 10. Suggested Attire Formal clothes are recommended for opening/closing and casual wear for the rest of activities. 11. Weather ( C) In Guatemala City high temperatures are expected in April, with average temperatures of 19 C. at 30 C, mornings usually are sunny. 12. Currency Currency name: Quetzal (Q). Exchange Rate (subject to change) is US $ 1 per Q 7.44 13. Credit and debit cards The international credit cards usually accepted in hotels, shops and restaurants are: American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and debit cards with the Electron logo. 14. Vaccines and medical services There is no obligation or need to be vaccinated before visiting the country. Public and private hospitals are available for tourists, emergency service 24 hours a day. 15. City information Guatemala City attracts visitors whose interest ranges from Mayan history to contemporary culture. Two museums host Mayan artifacts, some of which were discovered at a nearby archaeological site. Other museums exhibit indigenous and modern art. The city offers traditional walks and interesting destinations. Theaters, antique bookstores, culturales centers, museums, craft fairs, modern shopping centers, historic cafes and parks. 16. Language Guatemala's official language is Spanish, and English is spoken by most of the people involved in tourism activities.

Electricity In Guatemala City standard output voltage is in the range of 110/120 volts. 19. Taxes and tips Tax on purchases is included in consumer prices (12%). Tipping in restaurants it is not included in the account and is usually considered as a tip 10% of the value of consumption. 20. Local Time Local time in Guatemala is at -6 coordinated universal time (UTC -6 / time zone -6). 21. Business hours Shopping centers are open Monday to Sunday hour from 09:00 hrs. until 20:00 hrs. 22. Safety Recommendations The safety recommendations are common to every city, such as carrying only the necessary money, not valuable jewelry, apply at the hotel of choice taxi services to travel insurance. the use of yellow or green taxis phone (502) 2470-1515 recommended. 23.
