TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION INFORMATION KITEFOIL GOLDCUP KOREA HOW TO GET THERE! The following information acts a general guideline only, so please check all travel information fully for yourself, specific to your journey. South Korea has a number of international airports that you can fly into, some more international than others however. The two key airports for South Korea are either Incheon or Gimpo. Korean Airlines and Asiana Airline are the two main domestic airlines to check, though there are some others also. Gimpo International Airport (also known as Gimpo Airport) is the closest to Daecheon Beach and takes only around 2 and half hour by road. Its international destinations do seem a bit limited however, confined mostly to international flights from Japan and China, but of course if you are from there. Still worth checking first though before you book as it also seems to change often. Incheon International Airport (also known as Incheon Airport) is the main international airport you need to reach if you are flying from either of the two main South Korean International airport Hubs.
FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE! As KWKF only provide FREE pick-up service at Incheon International Airport, KWKF strongly recommend all the riders to land on Incheon International Airport. Nearly all the terminals at the airport and there are always taxis waiting. However, please avoid taking the Taxi from Incheon to Daecheon Beach, it will take longer and cost a lot. Pick-up: 2 times a day (a 40 - seater Bus per time) at Incheon to Daecheon on either 14 th of May or 15 th of May, defends on the riders schedule. (Total 4 times and the schedule can be changed.) 14 th : 10 AM, 18 PM 15 th : 10 AM, 18 PM Drop-off: Please let me know the number of people who is going to use the shuttle so KWKF can prepare. ACCOMODATION Riders will be staying in place five minutes on foot. 16th~20 th (5 nights), it will be 20 USD per one night. Total fee of accommodation will be 100 USD(20 USD x 5 nights). KWKF is going to support only during the event(16 th ~21 st ), so if there are riders who want to stay before and after events, riders have to pay for the accommodation. It will be approx. 40-50 USD per one night. (Rider s accommodation is still under discussion because most Korean hotels don t have twin room.
