Like every year, we have completed our Annual Survey on the World Pasta Industry. We would like to thank all the Associations and Companies that contributed to the updating of this useful information. The following tables have been prepared with the contributions received so far. We have tried to include estimates of missing data on production and domestic consumption whenever possible. World trade figures are sourced from Global Trade Atlas, supplied by Global Trade Information Services (www.gtis.com). 13.6 million tons of pasta produced around the world, by more than 45 producer countries around the world More than 300 different pasta shapes available and an average per capita consumption ranging from 26 and 2 kg. These are the figures for pasta, which give rise to a reflection on its role in the future of global alimentation. Please note that for those countries for which no updates have been received yet, we have used the most recent figures available. 2
