A PLACE OF CARING, BELONGING, AND RESPONSIBILITY At all YMCA Camps, we create a welcoming environment where every camper belongs. Through a wide range of activities, we encourage campers to challenge themselves and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. A SAFE PLACE FOR YOUR CHILD All camp staff are selected for their skills, leadership abilities and commitment to children s growth and development. Our staff are dedicated to making sure that all campers are both physically and emotionally safe, and are trained in First Aid and CPR as well as receiving ongoing training through the YMCA s Healthy Child Development program. Water programs are supervised by certified lifeguards and at YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth, our extended trip leaders have Wilderness First Aid training. A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT Our YMCA camps offer active programs that promote a healthy lifestyle. Our staff model healthy living choices to ensure that campers take good care of themselves while they are away from home overnight or at a local YMCA branch camp. A PLACE FOR CHILDREN OF ALL ABILITIES At YMCA camps we are committed to supporting children of all abilities in our camping programs. If your child requires an enhanced level of support during their camp experience please contact our main camp office to learn about our Inclusion options.
