The River Dart Experience At River Dart Country Park we offer a unique and unforgettable holiday experience set within 90-acres of wonderful woods, beautiful lakes and breathtaking parkland. Children can rough-and-tumble over space nets, swing through trees on jungle ropes, play tennis, splash about in our outdoor heated pool and enjoy our games room with pool tables and amusements. Toddlers aren t left out either with our Toddlers Beach, paddling pool and Lilliput, just perfect for tiny explorers. You can visit for the day, stay on our multi-award winning touring site, in one of our self-catering properties or even in our luxurious en-suite rooms in Holne Park House. Dare Devils For the thrill seeker in all of us. Dare Devils are instructor supervised adventure activities. Extra on-park excitement and fun in a safe environment. Go on - we dare you! Activities are operated by CRS Adventures at a small extra charge to cover the cost of the supervision. Dare Devil Tokens can be purchased on the day from CRS Adventures Reception. 1 token = 1, any unused tokens can be refunded. Indoor Climbing and Bouldering Wall - The ultimate experience for any budding climber - 220 square metres of safe modern undercover fun. Children under 8 to be supervised by an adult. Where to stay Camping & Within our 90 acre parkland setting we have a choice of accommodation - luxury bed and breakfast in Holne Park house, self catering in Fernlea or Cedars or bring your own place to stay - choose a pitch on our multi-award winning touring and camping site! No matter what type of accommodation you choose for your 2009 holiday at the River Dart Country Park we guarantee you a holiday to remember and memories to treasure forever. To further improve your holiday experience with us we have an open policy of not allowing stag parties, large groups of under twenty fives or loud music after 11pm, all of which ensures that your stay will be a tranquil one. Occasionally we welcome properly supervised school parties outside the high season. The only exception to this is our long standing and very popular weekend booking with the Harley Davidson Riders club (12-13 June) - there will be lots of live music and expensive motorbikes to admire. River Dart Country Park is a lush landscape of woods and parkland and what better way to experience this than by camping or bringing your own motorhome or caravan. Self-Catering and Bed & Breakfast Holne Park House is our premier wedding and conference venue with magnificently restored reception rooms and nine bedroom suites. We are pleased to be able to offer these luxurious bedrooms on a Bed and Breakfast basis. The rooms are available for a minimum of two nights stay, advanced booking is necessary. The majority of our impressive rooms face south with wonderful views over the lawns and park. There are three family suites with second integral bedrooms for children and four bedrooms with interconnecting doors to make two additional family suites. All rooms are en-suite, furnished to the highest standard and come with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is included in the price and is served in the Old Sawmill café / bar. There are no self-catering facilities in Holne Park House. All bedrooms are on the first and second floor and accessed by stairs only.
