WEST AFRICA An international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is compulsory All passengers in transit in a Nigerian port (Lagos) require a visa, even if they do not go ashore during the call. We suggest to all passengers to obtain a visa for all African countries where you plan to go ashore (except Dakar), since we cannot guarantee that you will be able to do so with the vessel s shore pass. Passengers without visa may usually get it locally, but you have to expect to spend up to US$ 100 per person. The Master may not allow passengers to go ashore if in his judgement there are problems with the safety and security ashore. IMPORTANT: No vehicles can be accepted as passenger accompanied vehicles.
