Activities Swimming pool and Hot Tub Pool & Hot Tub 30 foot by 60 foot enclosed, heated pool Contains a large deck Maximum depth of the pool is 5 feet All youth 18 and under are required to be accompanied by a counselor or responsible adult, we do not have a lifeguard Pool Capacity is 75 people Hot Tub Capacity is 12 additional activities Activity Fields: Suitable for football, softball, soccer or group games Sand Volleyball: Two sand courts available disc Golf: 9-hole course through the lower camp. (Equipment provided at Camp Office) Pat s mini putt: 18-hole mini putt course. (Equipment provided at Camp Office) Hiking: Explore the scenic nature trails in Lincoln National Forest Horseshoes: Available anytime Playground areas: Three different areas are available Amphitheaters: For outdoor meetings or campfires, to roast marshmallows in the evenings and to share what God is doing. We have two amphitheaters to choose from, with a capacity of 20-200. Our staff will start and extinguish the fire and supply firewood. Bonita Park Policies Mission Statement: Bonita Park is a place where people can find spiritual enrichment, social development, physical activity and mental renewal in a Christ-centered atmosphere. Tobacco use is not permitted in any of the camp buildings or on the grounds. No alcoholic beverages, fireworks, firearms or hunting are allowed on the grounds. Buildings and grounds are to be left reasonably clean with all trash placed in the wastebaskets. Any damage, discharged fire extinguishers, or lost/damaged equipment will be paid for by the responsible group. Pets are not allowed at Bonita Park. Swimming is only allowed in the pool area. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - As in all activities we require one Adult leader for every ten guests under age 18. Modest swimming attire for both males and females is required and should be made of non-revealing material with no cutouts (i.e. one piece suits). All other swimsuits must be covered with a dark colored T-shirt. Swimwear for guys must be of the boxer trunk style or cut-off jeans; tight whites or stretch knit suits are not acceptable. Swimwear is ONLY allowed in the pool area. Cover-ups or T-shirts must be worn to and from the pool area. Always dress according to Christian modesty. The pond and lake are unsafe for wading or swimming and are not patrolled. No cooking by guests is allowed. Conserve energy by turning off lights when rooms are not in use and keeping doors closed in buildings that are heated. Vehicles are not to exceed 10 MPH and must remain on existing roads only. Off-road vehicles may be used for transportation purposes only not for recreational use on the grounds. Only licensed drivers are authorized to operate vehicles on the grounds. Please do not allow passengers to ride on the outside of the vehicles or in truck beds. Parking is available around lodging and meeting room facilities; please do not park in the loading area behind the dining hall. Males and females are not allowed in each other s rooms. Minimum counselor ratio for youth groups is one counselor per 10 youths. Noise is to be controlled after sunset to respect the privacy of other groups using the facilities. A Playground is located on the south side of Morris Center. Parents are asked to supervise their children in these areas. Camp curfew is midnight. Respect camp boundaries and private cabins. Campfires are allowed only in the designated areas and must be requested. The Bonita Park staff must start and extinguish the fire. NO OTHER OPEN FIRES ALLOWED.
