TRAVEL INFORMATION BY ROAD Be prepared: It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with local road rules and abide by them. Most European countries have a list of compulsy equipment that you must take with you. F example, there is a new legal requirement in France to carry a breathalyser in your car. Leave Autoute at junction Narbonne Est. Head f Centre Ville and Gare (railway station). Opposite the station turn left, follow along 300mtrs and turn right just befe crossing the canal (Quai d Alsace is signposted) Go straight on under Railway Bridge onto quai d Alsace. Le Boat is on your right. Road distance approximately 1100 kms 11hrs.

When you arrive opposite the railway station turn left, follow along until the canal and turn right just befe going over it onto Quai d Alsace. The office is 200m further on, on the right just after the footbridge. From motway exit NARBONNE SUD: Follow the direction CENTRE VILLE. When you are in the centre at the roundabout with a fountain, turn left towards BEZIERS, follow along until you go past the new Mediathèque and the old concrete building then turn left following the sign f QUAI D ALSACE. Go straight on f 300m and turn right just befe going over the canal. The office is 200 m further on the right just after the footbridge. TAXI TRANSFERS If you are arriving by plane train, we can arrange f a taxi to transfer you to and from the base at negotiated prices. Our staff are insured to drive your vehicle on your behalf, with the exception of rental vehicles. Car transfers are bookable in advance via our sales team. We recommend that you arrive 60 minutes earlier f check-in and instructions. If you have booked an Early Check-in Service, please arrive at the base ready to depart between 11am and 12pm from 2pm. LATE ARRIVALS: If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to infm the base directly our sales team. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception do infming you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on f you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following mning.
UPON ARRIVAL: Our base staff look fward to welcoming you to their cruising region and aim to make your arrival and holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. When you arrive our base staff will: Take a fuel deposit to cover the fuel you use during your holiday. Any extra fuel used will be charged on your return we will refund the difference f fuel you have not used. Take a refundable collision damage deposit if you have not purchased collision damage waiver. This will be refunded if you return your boat and its inventy undamaged at the end of your holiday Familiarise you with your waterways guide, maps and other helpful documentation provided to help you plan where you want to go and where you d like to stop. Brief you about your boat, the equipment on board, and the cruising area (places to visit, etc). Give you a boat handling demonstration on the water with one of our technicians. Garage - 50 per week Although free on-road parking is available in Narbonne, we would highly recommend that you pay f secure parking due to high level of car crime in this area. It is possible to purchase a holiday license from June to September and can be brought from a shop close to the base.
MARKET DAYS: An excellent undercover market is held in the town centre every mning throughout the year between 08:30-12:30 YOUR RETURN Your boat should be returned and unoccupied by 9am on your last cruising day ( by midday if you have booked a Late Check-out).
