Framo Training Team arrange courses at Framo Training Center, Bergen, Norway Framo offices world wide: Houston, Rotterdam, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Brasil, Dubai and China Norwegian Training Center (NTC), Manila, The Philippines On board training - Framo Instructor riding the ship for 3-5 days The Yard/In your office/job location worldwide Framo Standard Training Seminar in Operation and Maintenance The following subjects will be covered: Correct operation during discharging, stripping, tank washing and cargo heating Trouble shooting and maintenance of the main components in the system Hands-on training on main components, such as: Cargo pumps, control valves, relief valves, etc. Schedule: During we will arrange 2 Standard Seminars at each of our premises in Bergen, Houston, Rotterdam and Shanghai, 2 Seminars in Athens, and 1 in Tokyo, Busan and Dubai. The Training Seminars will deal with both operation and maintenance. New in : 2 seminars in Vietnam 1 seminar in Mumbai Rotterdam 9-11 January and 4 - September Bergen 1-18 January and 21-23 August Houston - 8 March and 1-18 October Framo Seminar for Superintendents A 3-days Seminar especially intended for Superintendents and other technical operators of the Framo-equipped ships. Rotterdam - 8 February and 23-25 October Singapore Bergen 20-22 February, 5-7 June and 13-15 November - 8 March Our experience is that the demand for superintendent seminars is high, extra seminars will therefore be arranged accordingly. and 11-13 September The main subjects will be: Technical build-up of the hydraulic systems and cargo pumps. Preventive maintenance Annual inspection Pre-docking inspection Hands-on training Evaluation of used spare parts Spare part stock on board Trouble shooting and repair work. Framo Training Courses Framo Tailor-made Training Courses In addition, our tailor-made courses can be arranged all year round, at our training center in Bergen, Norway, or worldwide - related to specific systems and customers. Based upon your special demands we will give you our best recommendation and special offer. On Board Training Particularly good results have been achieved by On Board Training, where an experienced person from Framo Training Team will especially highlight the following subjects: Theoretical and practical instruction of the ship s staff Operation, Cargo handling, Cargo pump s performance curves Supervise system adjustment Supervise disassembling of cargo pump and check that necessary special tools exist on board Check filter box, hydr. oil tank and storage tank and bring ashore hydr. oil samples for analysis Evaluation of hydraulic system and cargo pumps (Technical Report) After the course is completed, a Condition Report will be sent to the ship and owner Training Certificate For all 3 day courses with hands-on training, i.e. at our training centres world wide, in Athens and on board / at yard, we will issue a Framo Training Certificate, valid for 5 years. Training Diploma is issued to all participants at all training courses. Framo Training Certificates have proven very useful for vessels and crew for proving Framo experience both for vessel qualifications and vetting inspections. Three days Standard Courses in Operation and Maintenance at our offices in Bergen, Rotterdam, Houston, Singapore and Shanghai: NOK 10.200,- per attendant. * Prices at other venues available upon request. 2. Three days Seminar for Superintendents at our premises in Bergen or Rotterdam:NOK 10.200,- per attendant. 3. Tailor-made Training Courses at our Training Department in Bergen or at our subsidiaries abroad One day: NOK.900,- per attendant Two days: NOK 9.200,- per attendant Three days: NOK 10.200,- per attendant Five days: NOK 12.800,- per attendant Minimum attendance to be agreed upon. 4. Training at the Yard or at the Shipowner s Office: Price per day for one instructor, training manuals/materials included: NOK 10.500,- This also includes travel days to and from. Travel, board and lodging for instructors will be charged at cost. 5. On Board Training: The stay on board will be 3-5 days and price per day, is NOK 10.500,-. This also includes travel days to and from. Training Manuals, Condition Report and Oil Analysis are free of charge. Travel, board and lodging will be charged at cost. We are running contractual courses with several of the world s major chemical tanker operators - with excellent results.
