Prioritization Neighborhood Park Planning In addition to garnering public feedback, we are using the following evaluation criteria for site selection: The private and public amenities that exist within the site s service area. Includes athletic fields, playgrounds, swimming pools, tennis courts, dog parks, etc. Existing access to open space and trails. Anticipated development costs will vary depending on current access roads, existing utilities, proximity to water and sewer, size of site, shared costs with school, etc. Current density and potential growth rate based on permit applications. Depends on closeness to existing facilities and infrastructure. Ability to offer athletic and recreational programs through fields, courts, etc. 9
