Exhibitors Exhibitor feedback This year we had a lot of successful meetings, a lot of interest and a lot of positive feedbacks. So we are very happy and very excited at this fair! Business programme 45 suppliers of food products 21 retail chains 290 meetings held Retail Centre over 2 days The Retail Centre provided a platform for holding direct talks with representatives of retail chains on issues of supplying leading food shops with producers food products. Producers and suppliers could view the list of retail chains taking part in advance by food category this made the event more efficient. Winners were chosen via online voting on the event website. The New Product Showcase competition is a unique opportunity for exhibitors to present their new products to a wide range of buyers representing retail chains and wholesale businesses from Moscow and other regions of Russia. Business programme 2016 Product of the Year tasting competition More than 500 food product samples by 200 The Product of the Year professional tasting competition involved an independent jury of leading industry specialists. The aim of the competition is to showcase and promote quality food products on the Russian market. Winning were awarded grand-prix, gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as certificates based on the industry tasting competition protocols. Participants entered products from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other countries. The 2016 jury awarded: 13 grand-prix 110 gold medals 53 silver medals 18 bronze medals The winners are able to place an image of the medal on their packaging to show consumers and distributors that it is a quality product. www.world-food.ru 15
