LAUDERDALE To make your journey as convenient as possible, the Pearl Mist will depart from Ft. Lauderdale, on the southeastern coast of Florida. This vibrant city is known for its beaches and boating canals as well as The Strip, a promenade lined with upscale outdoor restaurants, bars, boutiques and luxury hotels. You may decide to arrive a day early to take advantage of some of the city s highlights. DAY 2 HAVANA The colorful capital of Cuba, Havana is a mesmerizing city with beautiful colonial edifices and a dramatic coastline. Known for its architecturally impressive plazas and outstanding series of fortifications, Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage site, displays Cuban culture at its finest. Led by our local guide, explore its plazas which are home to churches, palaces, castles, monuments, and markets that come together to create one of the most impressive historical city centers in the Caribbean basin. DAY 3 HAVANA The capital city of Havana is far too interesting to see it all in just one day! You will spend your second day continuing to explore everything that makes Havana one of the greatest capitals in the Caribbean Basin. For an authentic taste of Cuban cuisine, dine at a local paladar, one of Cuba s small, privately owned, and operated restaurants. DAY 4 DAY AT SEA Grab a good book and curl up in one of our spacious lounges, or relax on your private balcony and enjoy the passing landscapes as we make our way to Cienfuegos. As you cruise, delight in the locally inspired cuisine prepared by our team of master chefs. DAY 5 CIENFUEGOS Nicknamed La Perla del Sur (the Pearl of the South), Cienfuegos is a charming community ideally situated along the southern coast of Cuba. Originally settled by French immigrants in 1819, Cienfuegos is Spanish for one hundred fires. Our stop in this picturesque city will include a guided exploration of the renowned Botanical Garden and Cienfuegos Museum. DAY 6 TRINIDAD Located in South Central Cuba, between the mountains of the Escambray Range and the Caribbean Sea, the town of Trinidad is a well-preserved view of old world Cuba. Founded in 1514, the town is lined with cobbled streets, neoclassical buildings, and exquisitely wrought iron railings. Spend the day exploring art studios, a ceramics workshop, and two of the city s renowned museums. DAY 7 CASILDA Casilda is a seaport town in the Sancti Spíritus Province. Part of the Ministry of the Fishing Industry s shrimp zone, Casilda is known for its high-quality seafood which is exported all over the world including Asia, Europe, and North America. The beautiful beaches of Casilda, including the Playa Ancón, make it a popular destination where colorful artisan shops line the waterfront. The Trinidad to Cumanayagua Loop is a circular drive which offers elevated vistas of the Caribbean Sea as well as some of Cuba s most pristine mountain scenery. DAY 8 DAY AT SEA As we cruise to Santiago, see the remote southern coastline of Cuba stretching out before you. Enjoy the sundeck views of islands, white sand beaches, and small coastal towns along the way. Or, head to the lounge to take part in an activity or interactive discussion presented by one of our onboard experts. DAY 9 EL COBRE, SANTIAGO The town of El Cobre, located in a high valley within a mountain range, features a shrine to Cuba's patron saint Our Lady of Charity (La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre). The Cuban people come from miles around to pay their respects to their patron saint at El Sanctuario de Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre, a unique triple dome church built in 1927. DAY 10 SANTIAGO DE CUBA The second largest city in Cuba after Havana, Santiago de Cuba is a gleaming cultural capital lying on the Santiago de Cuba Bay with the towering Sierra Maestra Mountains providing the perfect backdrop. The city s close proximity to Jamaica and other Caribbean isles has created an extremely diverse metropolis unlike any other Cuban city. Experience the blend of Cuban and Caribbean culture reflected in the city s art, architecture, music, and cuisine. DAY 11 DAY AT SEA As we make our way back to southern Florida, relax and reminisce about the historic voyage you have just taken.
