LON SOLOMON S Daniel, the Lions, and the End Times Tour APRIL 18 - APRIL 26, 2017 Victoria Falls Extension APRIL 25-29, 2017 Without a doubt, one of the most well-known events in all the Bible is the story of Daniel in the lions den. The famous Baroque artist Peter Paul Rubens even created one of his most famous paintings in 1614 AD using this story as its subject. I have had many people ask me about doing a series on the end-times prophecies of the Bible. Of course, these are concentrated in the Books of Revelation, Zechariah, and Daniel. And since the Book of Daniel also has a very prominent chapter dealing with lions--i thought it would be cool to combine a trip to South Africa to actually see real lions with a Bible study on the Book of Daniel. We will cover all 12 chapters during the duration of the tour, bringing in data from the Books of Revelation and Zechariah to deepen our holistic grasp of what the Bible teaches about the Return of the Lord Jesus and the end of the age. All my life, I have wanted to go to South Africa and take a safari, and to see Victoria Falls in Zambia and Zimbabwe, the largest waterfalls in the world, first discovered by the great missionary David Livingstone in 1855. But I don t want to go by myself! I want to take some friends along to enjoy it with me. And so--our very special spring tour for 2017! Also, I have become more gripped in recent days about the need for us as Christians to have a global outlook and to serve the poor and needy peoples of the world, especially children. In this regard, I am reminded that Daniel and his three friends were all orphans, taken into captivity by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar in 606BC and brought to Babylon without their parents or any relatives that the Bible mentions. As orphans, they were all alone, but the Lord cared for them in a special way, as He loves to do for orphans, for whom He has a special love and concern. So we will be spending a day ministering at a local orphanage just outside Cape Town. I am very excited about this tour and I hope you will be too! NOTE: EVEN THOUGH FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE BY DECEMBER 15, 2016, WE WILL CONTINUE ACCEPTING NEW REGISTRATIONS UNTIL MARCH 15, 2017 OR UNTIL THE TOUR IS FULL. NO INTEREST PAYMENT PLAN ALSO AVAILABLE - SEE INSIDE FOR DETAILS.

Dr. Lon Solomon and HLP Tours invite you on our brand new adventure: DANIEL, THE LIONS, AND THE END TIMES TEACHING THRU THE BOOK OF DANIEL ON SAFARI IN SOUTH AFRICA, ZAMBIA & BOTSWANA 18 April 25 April - 29 April 2017 Day 1 18 April 2017 We pack our childhood dreams in a suitcase as we head to JFK airport to embark together with our friends and our church family on a trip of a lifetime to the amazing wonders of Africa. Day 2 19 April 2017 Welcome to Africa! We arrive at Johannesburg and head north to start our adventure of wildlife & lifestyle at the Five Star Ivory Tree Safari Lodge. Our home-away-from-home is nestled inside the crater of a long extinct volcano. This fascinating alkaline complex was produced by volcanic eruptions many years ago. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world and its rare rock types and structure make it a unique geological feature. The area is fringed by three concentric ridges or rings of hills the formation rises from the surrounding plains like a bubble. This is the most perfect example of an alkaline ring complex, and a number of rare minerals occur in the park. Numerous Stone and Iron Age sites are scattered throughout the park. The park is situated within the transition zone between the dry Kalahari and wetter Lowveld vegetation, commonly referred to as Bushveld. Unlike any other large park, unique overlaps of mammals, birds and vegetation occur because of this transition zone. We check in to our rooms, and thus starts our two days and two nights of pristine unforgettable nature & wildlife experience at the beautiful Pilanesberg National Park.

SAFARI: Day 2, Day 3 & Day 4: (Noon of 19 April, all 20 April and morning of 21 April) All Meals Included while on Safari Lodge: Ivory Tree Safari Game Lodge and Pilanesberg National Park are an African Eden. Vast herds of buffalo, elephant, antelope, kudu, zebras & impalas are resident on site, along with plentiful predators. The reserve is a slice of wilderness paradise far from the madding crowd; a place of renewal and reconnection with the natural world. The iconic wild animals of Africa - the Big Five - are at home here, but so too are over 40 other mammal species and 350 different types of birds. Game drives offer fascinating encounters with wildlife, and Ivory Tree offers guests unique African wildlife experiences. Guests get the opportunity to get up close & personal with the wildlife and to learn more about the animals behavior and natural habitat. It's not only the wildlife encounters that are superb at Ivory Tree Pilanesberg - so, too, is our safari lodge. Vibrant Ivory Tree Lodge welcomes us to experience wild Africa in sumptuous style. Decadent African spa treatments at the Spa Wellness Centre are other enticing offerings that encourage complete relaxation and enjoyment of the evocative surrounding environment. Other optional activities include Archery, Segways, Air-Gun and Interactive Drumming. Yet, even without doing anything at all, the place s air of natural calm will work its magic and renew your body and mind. All you need to do is sit back, relax and be enchanted by Africa. Our program includes daily morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers in the Pilanesberg National Park. Accompanied by an expert ranger-guide, we expect to encounter a diverse range of animal & bird species on game drives. Since this is a Big Five reserve, seeing lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo is very possible during our safari. The day starts with an early wake-up call around 5:30am. Tea, coffee and rusks are enjoyed together before heading out at first light. While seeing big game is always exhilarating, there are many other smaller species that are also captivating, and birding enthusiasts will be delighted at the hundreds of species of birds recorded on the National Park. Halfway through the game drive, there s a stop for hot drinks and snacks, before returning to the lodge at around 9am for a full breakfast. After an amazing morning we gather in this beautiful setting and hear our daily Bible teaching from Dr. Lon. In the middle of the day, relax, sleep or book a treatment in the Spa. For the more energetic there are optional activities like AirGun shooting, Archery lessons, Segway riding and African interactive Drumming.

Around 4pm, everyone gathers for a high tea, before heading out with your ranger guide for the afternoon game drive through the reserve. En route, you ll stop for a sundowner drink and will have a chance to stretch your legs as you watch the sun set over the distant peaks. As darkness falls, the nocturnal animals of the bush come out. The skilled tracker will scan the landscape using a spotlight, which illuminates animals eyes. A variety of completely different species can be seen on the night drive back to the lodge. Arrival at the lodge is usually around 7pm, allowing time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner. Overnights 19 & 20 April: Ivory Tree Safari Game Lodge Day 4 21 April 2017 After this most inspiring time of wildlife, nature & style, we enjoy another morning safari game drive, have another great breakfast, and then head out towards JNB airport. We board our domestic flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Praise the Lord as we look outside our aircraft window and see the breathtaking views of the Mt. of the Twelve Apostles. This stunning peak announces our arrival to one of the most beautiful and fun cities in the world: Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa. We arrive nice & early around noon, allowing us enough time to each choose our own version of R&R before dinner: Rest and Relax or Run and Roll Our hotel is situated a short distance from the heart of Cape Town s famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The Westin Cape Town offers 5-Star accommodation in Cape Town, situated against the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island, and is within one mile distance of many points of interest. After this free time in Cape Town, we ll get together and enjoy a great dinner. Overnight at The Westin Cape Town Hotel. Day 5 22 April 2017 Good morning Cape Town. Our hotel prides its 19 th floor breakfast dining room with great food & view, so be sure to come early and get a table with the spectacular views as the city wakes up for a new day. After this great start, today we set out to explore the beauty of Cape Town. Situated below Table Mountain, Devil s Peak and Lion s Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural heritage, grand splendor and the famous V&A Waterfront. Including all the `must-sees` of any Cape Town day tour, this is a geographical and

cultural extravaganza, showing you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings to the modern shopping malls of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Commence with a tour of Table Mountain as we ride up the scenic cable car to the summit. Clean fresh air accompanies the uplifting view up here. Here, with the Mt. of the Twelve apostles in front of us, Lon will continue his lecture series on the end-times prophecies of the Bible. Continue to the beautiful Camp s Bay and take time to stroll around the cobblestone vibrant arty flea market, Greenmarket Square, where artists and traders from all over the African continent gather to offer their wide range of fabrics, art, beadwork, masks, jewelry, and more. Haggle around and get some bargains here while entertained by the street musicians and performers. Choose your Café and have a moment. We continue to the picturesque Bo-Kaap, the former township at the foot of Signal Hill, also known as the Malay Quarter. Then we go to enjoy touring through the dynamic V&A Waterfront area. Originally constructed in 1860 by Prince Alfred son of Queen Victoria, and still a working harbor today, this vibrant pedestrian area has been recently remodeled and become the spot. As our hotel is conveniently located 1 mile from here, you choose how much time you wish to spend at the watershed and its 450 shops, the open air authentic food market, the wellness center and boutique shops, the artisan walkway, and the various workshops & live entertainment. Rest of the day is at your leisure until our dinner together. Overnight at The Westin Hotel Cape town. Day 6 23 April 2017 After another great breakfast we set out to a full day adventure to explore the southernmost tip of the Cape Peninsula. This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world s most scenic areas and stretches from the city center to Cape Point. We travel along the Atlantic coastline via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbor with magnificent mountain views and beach. Continue along Chapman s Peak, one of the world s most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Take out your map and stick a pin here as you are standing at the very point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean. The first Europeans to discover this milestone edge of Africa were the Portuguese Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco De Gama, in their strife to establish direct trade relations with the far east (although Herodotus mentioned a claim that the Phoenicians had accomplished that much earlier). The opening of the Suez canal in 1869 announced a shorter and much preferred

route, but up until the opening of the Suez Canal this was the naval route to the far east. Interestingly, after years of being secondary and almost abandoned, this route is recently back in business as the price of oil has dropped so dramatically in the recent years that is becoming cost effective again to circle around the continent of Africa instead of paying high passage fees to the Egyptians at the Suez Canal (fee can reach almost a million $ per passage). The horizon is infinite here and the view is just amazing. A perfect spot for enjoying a Bible teaching from Pastor Lon. After lunch we go on to historic Simon s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat. We then make our way to visit the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Kirstenbosch is the most famous of the South African botanical gardens. When it was founded in 1913 to preserve the country's unique flora, it was the first botanical garden in the world with this ethos. The garden is world-renowned for the splendor and diversity of the Cape Flora and for the beauty of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. After this exciting day, all of us comfortably return to the comfort of our hotel for dinner and overnight at The Westin Hotel, Cape Town. Day 7 24 April 2017 This is the day that the Lord has made - Let us rejoice and do good in it. After breakfast we change to some work clothes, as we will dedicate this day to serving the Lord: This is a day of missionary service as we help an orphanage just outside Cape Town. We are reminded that Daniel & his three friends were all orphans, taken into captivity by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar in 606 BC and brought to Babylon without their parents or any relatives that the Bible mentions. As orphans, they were all alone, but the Lord cared for them in a special way, as He loves to do for orphans, for whom He has a special love and concern. We will have our special activity here followed by a special teaching by Lon. We then return to our hotel in Cape Town for our last dinner and overnight in this exciting city. Day 8 25 April 2017 As you enjoy the breakfast and the views, take time to reflect on what we have learned and encountered so far on this special journey. It s not over just yet, as Lon will give us a closing teaching. After receiving heartfelt Biblical insight from Dr. Lon, today we will conclude our African adventure. We make our way to the airport to start our journey back home.

Day 9 26 April 2017 Arrive home in the USA with many magical moments, great images in our digital cameras and most important in our hearts. Farewell Africa, a dream that came true! - OR - CONTINUE WITH US TO THE VICTORIA FALLS WATERFALLS EXTENSION 25-29 APRIL SEE EXTENSION PROGRAM.

25-29 April 2017 Amazing Livingstone Victoria Falls Waterfalls Extension Including Zambia & Botswana 25 April 2017 We board our flight from Cape Town airport to the legendary Livingstone and Victoria Falls waterfalls in Zambia. We are ready to land at our exciting destination so keep your eyes open and look out the window for the World Wonder known as the Victoria Falls. After a quick 10-mile ride we are already checking in to our home: the Famous Royal Livingstone Hotel. Our hotel has been named one of the best hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure and by Conde Nast Traveller. It combines Colonial luxury with majestic views of the Victoria Falls. We join a long list of royal families, world leaders and celebrities that have had the joy of staying at this classy establishment. Enjoy the fine gardens and the breathtaking views. The Royal Pool overlooking the Victoria Falls. The Sundeck for Sundowners with Victoria Falls views. The Royal Livingstone Lounge surrounded by David Livingstone paintings. The Royal Spa for African & Signature treatments. The Hammocks dotted along the Zabezi River invite you to while away blissful hours in the shade, and the Pool beside the banks of the Zambezi river offers superb views. This is also a great way to spot local wildlife, such as the zebras who come to graze nearby. This afternoon we go for our Zambezi River Sunset Cruise. We sail and enjoy the beautiful close-up surroundings, while tasting finger snacks and various drinks. Great photo opportunities close up with often-spectacular African sunsets. The Zambezi River is the largest African river flowing into the Indian Ocean. This 1,600 miles-long river rises in Zambia and flows through Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, where it empties into the Indian Ocean. The first European to come across the Zambezi was Vasco da Gama in 1498, at what he called "River of Good Omens". The first exploration of the upper Zambezi was made by David Livingstone between 1851 and 1853. Two or three years later he descended the Zambezi to its mouth and in the course of this journey discovered the Victoria Falls. After these magic moments we return to our Royal Livingstone Hotel.

Tonight we have dinner at the exquisite Livingstone dining room. Overnight: The Royal Livingstone Hotel 26 April 2017 Today we start not too early, allowing us to enjoy the great breakfast & views. After breakfast it s time for the Main Course: we go for a guided tour of the Victoria Falls. Described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800 s as Mosi-oa-Tunya - the Smoke that Thunders and in more modern terms as the greatest known curtain of falling water, Victoria Falls is a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe. A path along the edge of the forest provides the visitor who is prepared to brave the tremendous spray with an unparalleled series of views of the Falls. Different times of the year will provide completely different experiences of the Falls region. Peak flood season is around March and April and the full power of the falls can be experienced in all its glory. At this unforgettable location we hear a teaching from Lon about the great missionary works of David Livingstone, who discovered these immense waterfalls. We return to our hotel, for time at leisure and rest. In the afternoon we go out for an adventure from a different era: We discover the timeless elegance, grace & romance of yesteryear as we explore one of the most scenic railway passes in Southern Africa. The Royal Livingstone Express is a unique African rail experience that combines the luxury of the Royal Livingstone Hotel with Victorian train travel, transporting us thru untamed Zambian bush in a journey rooted in nostalgia of a bygone era. The Royal

Express provides exquisite gourmet service through the picturesque Zambezi valley in Pullman-style coaches that have been lovingly restored to their former glamour. Travel this steam locomotive watching the sun set over the legendary Victoria Falls. After this exciting steam-train ride and a delicious dinner we return to our Royal Livingstone Hotel. 27 April 2017 Full day excursion (INCLUDED) to Chobe National Park Botswana! We get to explore a whole new taste and side of Africa today. After an amazing breakfast we ride to Kesane, where we will have a full day touring and exploring the beautiful wildlife of the exciting Chobe National Park nature reserve. We enjoy Boat Safari game viewing from the River. We also enjoy Land Safari game viewing at this yet another beautiful part of Africa. After an amazing full day we return to our pampering Royal Livingstone Hotel for our last supper together in the Livingstone Room. 28 April 2017 This morning time is free for you to enjoy as you like. After breakfast, choose your R&R time: take a walk in the gardens or in nature, enjoy the charming Royal Pool, the fitness room, the beauty salon, Spa treatments, reading at the Lounge Room, or at the café facing the Victoria Falls. You also can walk to town and shop for local art and crafts. This morning is the time for optional activities you might be interested in: Seeing the magnificent Victoria Falls from above in a helicopter ride, a canoeing trip in the Zambezi River, fishing safari, horse-riding safari, bird watching, or if you must Bungee Jump off Victoria Falls bridge. Be sure to be back from adventures on time, as at 13:30 our flight to JNB departs from the nearby airport where we then connect to our flight back home to JFK. Lon will give today a closing teaching.

29 April 2017 We ve concluded our African adventure. We arrive back in the USA with many magical moments, great images in our digital cameras and most important in our hearts. International travel involves certain inherent risks and dangers, including without limitation the following: (1) There is a risk of accident, serious injury and even death during travel by air, bus, boat or other means of conveyance, and at all other times during the tour; (2) There is a risk of negligence by private carriers used during the tour or their employees; (3) There is a risk of crime and theft; (4) There is a risk of violent attack by terrorists. Some or all of the destinations indicated in the itinerary may be covered by travel warnings or advisories issued by the U.S. State Department before or during the tour. Some of the specific destinations indicated on the itinerary may present more significant risk than others. HLP Tours and your tour host will endeavor to take reasonable precautions to avoid risks. However, there can be no guarantee that they will be successful in doing so. Accordingly, by signing this application, which will become a binding contract when accepted by HLP Tours, you are voluntarily and expressly agreeing to assume all such risks and hold HLP Tours and the tour host harmless for any injury or loss that may occur as a result of such risks, and to release them from any and all liability, claims or causes of action that may arise from the occurrence of such risks. HLP Tours and the tour host assume no liability whatsoever for actions by any person, or that result for any reason, outside the direct control of HLP Tours, including but not limited to events such as strikes, revolts, terrorist actions, civil unrest, wars, natural disasters, inclement weather, closures of airports or hotels, or the breach of contract, negligence or misconduct of any private carrier used during the tour. HLP Tours and the tour host are not responsible for any injury or loss that may occur while you are on board any airplane, bus, boat or other commercial carriers provided by HLP Tours under this Tour Agreement. 17. Release from Liability For Loss Or Injury Resulting From Ordinary Negligence. Except for the gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing of HLP Tours, its direct employees, or the tour host, HLP Tours assume no liability or responsibility for any loss, injury, inconvenience, illness, or damage of any kind (including general and consequential damages) occasioned by the ordinary negligence of such persons or by other circumstances and risks outside of their control. 18. Liquidated Damages For Breach Of Tour Agreement. In the event of a breach of contract by HLP Tours, HLP Tours will pay you as liquidated damages (not as a penalty) an amount equal to the total price you have paid for the tour. In no event will HLP Tours be liable for loss of profits or any special, incidental, or consequential damages, however caused, even if HLP Tours has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Any action arising under this Tour Agreement or because of its breach must be commenced within one year after the cause of action accrues. From the nature of the services to be provided by HLP Tours, it is impracticable and extremely difficult to fix the actual damages, if any, that you may incur as a result of HLP Tours s failure to perform any of its obligations under this Agreement. Accordingly, if HLP Tours is found liable for loss or damage arising from breach of this agreement, its liability will be limited to the refund to you of an amount equal to the total amount you paid for the tour as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, and this remedy shall be exclusive.
