TeleCrib Struts are cost effective, extendible struts for use in vehicle, machinery, aircraft and light structural stabilization. They provide fire and rescue personnel with several ways to stabilize loads prior to victim access and extrication. Because of their design, these struts are able to quickly and easily stabilize loads that would be difficult if not impossible to stabilize with wood cribbing. Competitive Advantage: In many countries, stabilization is not yet a standard rescue procedure. Our distributors that have seen the most success are the companies that introduced the necessity of stabilization and its importance in saving lives. If the fire brigades in your country do not yet carry stabilization equipment, yet are using hydraulic rescue tools such as Holmatro, Lukas or Amkus, then you are in a perfect position for success. If your fire brigades are carrying struts, chances are they carry a set of Airshore, Powershore or Paratech struts. These brands are quality products and are great at what they are designed to do; stabilizing large structures and trench rescue. They are not ideal for vehicle stabilization as they are bulky, heavy and require too much storage space in fire trucks. Our system gives fire brigades and rescue teams more added benefit for their money. Here are some of the fundamental advantages the Composite TeleCribs have over our competitors: Composite struts are lighter and stronger than steel struts, are electrically nonconductive, and are corrosion resistant. Require minimal maintenance for entire system, compared to air powered struts with many maintenance issues. Our kits are very safe and easy to use due to our interlock system and simple design. Strut Jacks fit ALL struts, work over the entire length of a strut and are removable, so you need just one per kit. Kits come complete with all accessories needed for a multitude of stabilization scenarios and accessories can be stored in the included bag(s). Compared to most other strut brands, our stabilization system costs less but has far more versatility. Sales Strategies: Our DVD is a very powerful tool for you to use. You may have as many as you need at no cost. It teaches the fundamentals of stabilization and is our most effective sales tool in North America. Many customers will purchase struts based on the DVD alone with no additional effort on your part. TeleCribs work with all brands of hydraulic extrication tools. We regularly receive online DVD requests from our website. We forward these active sales leads to you via e-mail for follow up. Getting this DVD and a brochure into the hands of fire chiefs of all the departments in your sales territory is a great way to introduce yourself and Rescue 42 products to them and is the most effective and efficient way to convert prospects into customers. This also gives you a window of opportunity to visit and generate sales with customers who may be committed to a competitor s brand of hydraulic extrication tools. Page 2

The Shark is specifically designed to give Rescuers back what they need most: Space! Our jobs gain complexity every day, and our need to carry equipment to solve those complex problems continues to grow. The thing that we all agree on is that we are out of space on our apparatus. While wood cribbing is virtually free, it takes up an enormous amount of extremely valuable space. It is also hard to carry step cribbing tall enough to stabilize SUV s and trucks. Replacing your wood or plastic step cribbing with a set of Sharks can often give you back an entire compartment! This allows you to carry additional critical equipment to better serve your communities and make sure everybody goes home safe. Specifications: Standard Large Height: 25 cm 42 cm Collapsed: 14 cm 14 cm Width: 22 cm 25 cm Length: 50 cm 70 cm Weight: 10 kg 17 kg Suggested Use: Engines, Pumpers, small Squads: 4 Standard Sharks Trucks/Ladders, Squads, Heavy Rescues: 4 Large Sharks Special Stabilization Units: 4 or more of each size 3175 kg Working Load with a 2:1 Safety Factor (6350 kg Test Load) Tricks of the trade: 1.) Drive pickets through the baseplate for additional stability in gravel, mud, oil, etc. Insert though the movable leg or ramp for vertical stability. 2.) Use a 2X4 (5x10 cm) placed across both sets of teeth to create a half-step. Use a 4X4 (10x10 cm) placed across both sets of teeth to create a double step. 3.) Use ratchet straps to tightly engage the Sharks under the vehicle if there is a chance of ejection. Sharks may also be used as a wedge anchor. 4.) Use a.9525 cm chain in the Chain Slot on the large Sharks to create a low Chain Saddle if necessary. 5.) Sharks may be nested for storage by flipping and stacking so the ramps are interlocked. Reversing the second pair allows the Sharks to nest closer together. 5 1 2 3 4 Page 5
TeleCrib Strut Kits We offer three standard kits: Engine Kit: This is our most compact kit. This kit is perfect for apparatus that don t traditionally carry cribbing but are carrying one of the new Personal type hydraulic extrication tools and therefore need stabilization equipment. Kit contains one long strut, one short strut, straps and a small accessory tool bag. All components besides strut bodies can be stored in the one bag. Truck Kit: This is our most popular kit. Try to match one set of these struts with each of your sets of hydraulic tools. Kit contains: two long and two short struts plus all straps and accessories in a heavy duty accessory bag. Rescue Kit: Best for trucks that have multiple tools and deal with complex rescues, or for Special Rescue units. Kit contains: four long and four short struts plus all straps and accessories stored in two heavy duty accessory bags. It is highly recommended that you consider adding additional components to the standard kits to meet your specific needs (Strut Jacks, additional Jack Heads and Hook Clusters are very popular).
